My first Oceanus!

Have to admit, I’m impressed. My collection mostly consists of Grand Seiko and Omega watches but I grabbed this preowned example recently and I’m happy I did!

Questioning my entire collection because of this watch!!

This SBGN005 has made its way to the top of my rotation very quickly. Was lucky enough to get it second hand a couple months ago. I have owned a fair amount of Grand Seikos and this one truly impresses me. It’s just checks all the boxes and is done so well. Looks great, sized perfectly, wrist presence yet understated, highly functional and just the right pop of color. Probably will move on from several pieces just because of this watch - been a long while since that’s happened for me! 🤓

Lume battle! Omega vs Grand Seiko

Omega’s lume wins on brightness, duration and overall quality but the GS is surprisingly good too!

I am (slowly) working towards a two watch collection and these two might just make the final cut.
