Are there tortoises on the island? I have seen a snake in the past and I heard those are less common, but are there tortoises or large land turtles? I saw one in the bike lane while in a vehicle that couldn't stop and I was a bit concerned for it. It was probably at least 12 inches long and probably 7-10 inches high. It had a dark and very knobby shell. Is this just another rare animal for the island, or might someone's pet have escaped?

Just calling out these Easter eggs for those of you that may not be into Queen -

1. The cops joke about Adam being Highlander. Later, when Adam and the rest break out of their prison, the song "Princes of the Universe" by Queen plays. This songs was written by Queen for the movie Highlander (and later used for the TV show too).

2. Brian May is credited as providing guitar (but the end credits said something more epic, like "He-Man's guitar music"). Right before this is shown in the end credits, Gwildor can be seen as a neon outline playing a guitar. That guitar is "the red special", the incredibly unique and meticulous guitar that Brian handmade with his father long ago. It is heavily featured on Queen's recordings and live and is synonymous with him. If you have seen Brian with an electric guitar, it is almost definitely The Red Special. (I can't recall if Gwildor was holding a pick or a 1947 sixpence. IYKYK.)

3. Travis Knight also said Flash Gordon was a huge influence for this movie and that's probably why he got Brian May to do guitar work. The influence shows at times too, like when Adam throws a ball at someone similar to how flash threw a football shaped melon or whatever.

IDK if they would ship it, but for $1,300, I imagine they may. Either way, I thought I'd share this as something cool to see.

Recently diagnosed and I'm curious to know how high your antibody levels were when you were diagnosed, and at which stage of Hashimoto's were you when diagnosed?

I have listened to IWTBT, Spring 2025, Leaves, Circle of Veins, and another with about 6 songs that I can't remember. Thus far, I dig IWTBT, COV, and Spring 2025 the most, but what are your favorite albums? Also, why are their CDs so hard to find in the US? His merch seems mostly overseas.

Anyone know when Walmart (not resellers on Walmart.com) is going to restock the chronicles Scare Glow figure? I don't want to pay a ton for it on the aftermarket but they don't even show the figure on their site anymore except unless it's a reseller. Even when it was out of stock it still had a listing until a few days ago. I'm in Cincinnati BTW.

Weren't medjool dates previously on the bad list by Monash? I was recently craving fruit since I rarely get any now bc I struggle with foodmaps. To my surprise medjool dates were in the ok list (based on serving size). I had 2 a few weeks ago and it triggered a major event for days. Then an.hour ago I had 1. Just 1 dried, pitted medjool date and within minutes I could feel it draining my energy/fatiguing me and I can feel my bowels preparing for what's to come tomorrow. I expect I will bleed. Am I crazy, or were these previously red on the Monash app? If so, how are they OK now but I'm still having the same issues from even just a single date? Are others this sensitive to them?
