After vs Before ink stain removal

I posted a little while ago asking for advice, here is the update!

I bought this acne cream on Amazon. I caked it onto the stains and kept the dolls in direct sunlight for 10 hours or so. I washed it off the next day and the stains were completely gone! I'm actually so shocked that it worked, and it worked so well.

Some other info:

I have no idea what type of ink was stained on the doll.

The owner of the dolls tried removing the stain with other things first: acetone, magic eraser, who knows what else. I don't know if that affected this in any way, though I doubt it.

Anyone know how I could restore these?

I usually customize fashion dolls, and have never restored a doll before. For context, I work at a senior living community and the memory care director asked me if I could fix these. Sometimes people with dementia or Alzheimer's play (for lack of a better term) with baby dolls and sometimes believe they are real. It can be therapeutic for them or at the very least comforting. So these dolls are really important to some of the residents! Which is why I would really love to figure out how to be able to fix these for them.

I know stains are a pain in the neck and they can sometimes be lightened with uv light and hydrogen peroxide, but it's not perfect. If anyone has experience with this or product recommendations that would be cool.

Also does anyone know what the crust could be around the eyes? I'm assuming glue. If I use goo be gone to remove it, will the eyeballs pop out too? 😂 Sorry if that's a dumb question.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions to make that hairline on the baby on the left less atrocious? I may or may not do something with it depending on how much of a hassle it might be.

Thanks so much for any input anyone might have!!
