It’s just so insanely heartbreaking and maddening to see normal, progressive people fall for any religious trap. He’s become a Muslim for his ex (who was Muslim) and he believes Islam isn’t misogynistic and when he’s presented with things that ARE very much misogynistic he agrees with them because they’re the “word of god”

Pata hai aaj kya hua I got my belly pierced and my bf came w me to get it done which was so cute of him (he comes to all my piercing n tattoo appts). This piercing was on 26th.
He was on vacation and broke his phone there and had to send it for repair on 27 and so we couldn’t talk all day and even on 28 ☹️ I was so sad because we couldn’t talk at all, even at night
My belly also hurts like hell and I can’t bend down or sit up straight or slouch forward because it hurts a lot. I can’t complain abt it to anyone because I’m not that big on complaining and I wasn’t talking to my bf bcs of the phone repair so I couldn’t tell him either
Then as I was rly rly missing him a lot bcs of the pain, he called me from his grandpa’s phone ☹️☹️ he remembered my number (I don’t remember his 💔🥀) and he even tried logging into his Instagram but didn’t know his password. And he couldn’t use his WhatsApp or anything because of his SIM card being in his phone that’s gone for repair
I talked to him and told him abt how I couldn’t complain and I got babied 😛 rn he’s sleeping on call w me and im so happy I love him
Ok this will be weird bcs it was weird to me too.
I’m Indian and so is my bf and my dad. My dad was born n brought up in the US because his parents immigrated there before he was born. They still live there.
My dad came back to India bcs he wanted to marry my mom and she didn’t wanna move out at the time.
He’s a doctor and did his degree from there.
We were talking abt all this and he asked if my dad did his degree from there and I said yes. My bf has known my dad was born and brought up there for a long time bcs my grandparents come to visit us from the US almost every year and they’ve come once since we’ve been dating.
He asked “do you think your dad has fucked white bitches?” THAT was his exact line btw. And I was eating and pretty dissociated? For some reason. I have adhd and zone out a lot.
I said “I guess” and he said “good for him”.
We talked after that too. I had completely forgotten this happened. Then I was talking to my friend and she mentioned her dad’s drinking (my dad is an alcoholic too and so is my bf’s) so I suddenly remembered what my bf had asked some hours prior to this chat w my friend and I mentioned it to her.
It’s very disturbing to me and to her 😭 idk how to even talk about this?? He knows I hate the word “bitches” too btw idk why he’d use that.
