maybe social or something, and the way she talks to me i just can't tell if she is or if that's just what i see from her

and like sometimes she teases me, or like yesterday calls me nosy when i try to glance at what she's doing on her chromebook and i don't know if it is a flirt or if she just jokes like that, and i always respond to her banter with something like "yeah okay" in a sarcastic tone

and like today she was swinging her legs side to side with her friend in the walkway and she purposefully rammed them into my leg since i orient myself to the front of the class (and her)

and like sometimes we glance at each other and accidentally look at each other's eyes for like a second or less but i don't know if she did it on purpose or not like bro

let alone the fact it was already stressful enough trying to build up the coruage and then one of her friends said "are you gonna get your boyfriend to do it for you?" or something like that so now i don't know if she's single or not and just ughhh

and i mean she's sweet too, she's complaining about dudes and how it's like she has a big red sign on her forehead on something about "play in her face only to always come back" today while talking with a friend about the friend's recent breakup

and i've been trying to gather the strength to ask her if she's single for the past 3 days bruh and i don't even talk to her either much apart from her teasing or when i say excuse me to be let through the walkway (yes, walkway. we only share my 5th period together)

but i have been coming up with a plan where i'd have to ask this in an isolated environment like when she's waiting for the bus or whatever, just a spot where i can ask with less pressure on my part

and basically i ask "ay uhh... are ya single?" and if she asks why i can go "i was gonna ask for ya 👻 or number or something bcz i wanna getta know ya more" n if she don't want me i can js go "alright, hope this don't ruin anything, you're chill"

we had a lil convo about how we like relationships back in like chemistry class sophomore year and we both like having good communication so if she likes me it might turn into something good, and i think she's cute too
