Engine and dash issues at high rpm in 6th gear

Iv been having this issue recently where in 6th gear at higher rpm the tach will just drop to 0 and the engine starts sputtering and idk what could be causing it. I have replaced the stator and rectifier, plugs, coils, swaped batteries with another one of my bikes, checked all fuses, and made sure oil level was good and oil was in good shape. In other gears I can rev it out all the way to tye limiter but in 6th it does this. Bike is a 2003 cbr954rr.

Tips for engine rebuild

I recent just got a 1990 for the low price of free but it burns a ton of oil. Is it possible to rebuild the motor with the block still innthe car? Im very space constrained in my current living situation so I dont really have the room to pull the motor. I do understand that it would be a lot harder woth it in the car i just want to know if its possible

Noise after kitacocl clutch cover install

I recently installed the kitaco clutch cover on my 2017 honda grom and after installing the clutch cover I noticed this very loud ticking noise coming from the engine. I did also installed a manual cct and I confirmed it is tensined to the proper amount and my valves are adjusted and in spec. This noise was not present before installing the clutch cover at all. Amd im kinda at a loose on where to start looking next. The noise also remains wether the bike is in gear or not and regardless if the clutch lever is pulled in or not
