I'll keep this brief. My partner and I aren't planning to have a baby. At least by a long shot. So we're currently exploring reliable birth control options. Based on my research, an IUD seems to be the most effective choice and a better fit for my biology as well.
I have PCOS and from what I've seen, being on the pill may actually worsen my symptoms, contrary to the experiences of other women that are on said contraception, as well as the overall health risks it poses (blood clots, heart attacks, strokes, you name it).
With that in mind, I'd love some recommendations for reputable doctors or hospitals in Lahore that can help with contraception counseling and IUD insertion. Thanks.
This was about a month ago. I saw an ad for an ipod that was being sold for cheap. And I fell for it big time. It was nothing but sheer stupidity on my front for trusting a guy that not only provided vague one line description for the device but also communicated in horribly broken English and barely spelled anything right.
I found the ad for an iPod Nano 5th Gen and the description simply stated that the iPod was "off"... I asked the guy what he meant by that and he told me it just doesn’t turn on. But everything else was supposedly perfectly fine. I didn’t really care whether it powered on or not since I only needed a donor device to harvest parts from for another iPod I already own with a busted screen.
Khair. I asked the guy to send me more pictures and he did. But his camera quality was so awful that I couldn’t really make out much. I thought since the guy was willingly sending me pics and that too in an instant meant he's genuine and didn't once think about it being a potential scam. So without much hesitation I agreed to go through with the order. I told him from the start that I wouldn’t be sending any money until after I received my stuff. Initially the guy was okay with it. Then the next day came around and he started begging me to send him half the payment first and the rest after I received the package. After a lot of back and forth I eventually relented and sent him the first half.
He sent me all sorts of proof that he had packed my iPod and was at the courier office. I was excited obviously and waited patiently until the day it finally arrived. The condition as it turned out was worse than what was shown to me. The screen was horribly busted. Even moreso than the ipod I already own. Completely shattered. And the top part of the iPod had literal teeth marks on it. As if some animal, probably a dog, had chewed on it like a toy. It wasn’t salvageable by any means whatsoever. I ultimately had no choice but to chuck it straight into the trash bin.
Thankfully the purchase wasn’t expensive. I only lost around 2k out of my own pocket. But money lost is still money lost…and I learned my lesson.
Looks to be pretty vintage. Mom has Always had a thing for vintage jewelry and dad would make sure he gets the right stuff. I love lockets that lets you put pictures in them and my mom thought it would be nice for me to have it. The piece holds a lot of sentimental value to me of course.
So this was in the mid 2000s (likely 2005 or 6), I was at a restaurant with my mom and family with an outdoor dining setup. I was probably around 4 or 5 years old and had a huge fascination with mutants, vampires, gargoyles and werewolves. Basically the classic dark fantasy creature trope you're all familiar with, I was into all that. And around the same time I had my mom got me a VHS tape of Disney's Gargoyles that I loved with every fiber of my being. I'm including this bit as a referral point to help you guys identify what I actually am trying to look for because the creature I saw looked like a gargoyle with massive bat wings against the dark blue backdrop that I suppose was the sky. All I remember is that the creature was muscular. It was being projected on a giant screen just above the tables and I can't help but wonder sometimes if the whole scenario was just a dream. My mother affirms that it wasn't. Since that same night she ended up splashing some sprite into her eyes thinking it was water because her contacts began to sting her. Ouch 😬
That's all I can remember. It would mean the world to me if you could help me find where this gargoyle like creature was from. I'm pretty sure it wasn't from Gargoyles though. I had a recent rerun of the series and found no such scene with the creature making weird gestures and being the only one in frame. Was pretty cool though. If any other kid instead of me saw that at the time he or she would've freaked. The screen in question was MASSIVE. So imagine the size of that being overhead everyone just asserting dominance with just his presence alone. 😬
