Clinics rejecting Medicaid as secondary insurance

I am disabled and because I’m on SSDI I’m automatically enrolled in Medicaid. Recently I’ve been referred to clinics that are not accepting patients with Medicaid— Medicaid is not my primary insurance so I asked them not to run it but if a patient has Medicaid they are required by law to run it.

Who can I talk to about this problem? On the government end of things I’m assuming since this is a weird legal sinkhole.

Cozy Ranch + Conservatory

Just fondly remembering this great solo dev game. You run a ranch full of critters, some magical and some mundane. Using advanced tech to terraform the environment to keep them happy and healthy, while also working at a conservatory with wild animals.

Tales of Autumn added fresh gameplay to a saturated genre, I hope more people get to try it!

James Talarico is a progressive who embraces trans people & he could flip the Senate blue. Talarico isn't 'caving' to the GOP on trans issues. Maximalist trans activists like Parker Molloy do not speak for trans people like me when they purity test on 20/80 issues. These purity tests enable the GOP

Hair curly when long, straight when cut?

Had short hair my whole life, got MPB and figured I’d grow some length for a potential wig in the future. Recently chopped it off due to heat wave and fatigue caring for it (I’m severely disabled).

First pic is grown out hair, no purposeful layers. Just shampoo, conditioner, and tying it up to dry with bird nest clips for 2-3 days. If I let it down earlier it would still be wet and not have as much volume when dried.

Second pic is after growing it out longer, layered to thin the hair and make it easier to care for plus less weight for better curls. Kinda neglected for this pic, just air dried without keeping it up properly.

Third pic is after the chop, air dried. It has looked like this most of my life. I thought the curls were brought on by hormonal changes as I aged or bc I blow dried it due to sensory issues with wet hair. Figured doing that was straightened it unintentionally. But as seen here, it’s very straight when compared to when it was long and air dried— despite the top layer being the same length. I didn’t do any layering just chopped off the under layers.

Has anyone had experience with hair doing this? Is it in shock from the cut? Is it just my curl pattern is too weak? Do I need to “train” it by finger curling or something? Just feeling a little whiplash on how much the texture changes.

[Edit] I am in the US, my area has slightly hard water, I use Mane & Tail conditioner + shampoo.

▲ 1 r/POTS

I was diagnosed with POTS by tilt table back in 2016. A while back I had a reading of high blood pressure, which my doctors seemed to think was good considering I had low blood pressure previously.

Recently I started working on getting a new wheelchair and my heart rate was through the roof and blood pressure a bit high. A doctor I spoke to about MCAS said it looks like I’m transitioning from classic POTS to hypertension POTS.

Has anyone experienced this switch? If so any stories or advice you could share?
