If I went back to school to get a bachelor of education as a second degree (first degree is BSc) would it be challenging for me to find work teaching jr or sr high?

Experience birthday gift

What’s something I can do with my mom for her birthday gift? I like to take her to a concert or some type of event. Could be anywhere on the Avalon at any time this summer. I can’t find anything that looks fun. Two women, aged 44 and 75. Love live music but not into tribute bands. Any suggestions?

Side hustle or cash jobs

My full time career doesn’t pay enough to make ends meet these days. Starting to feel desperate and depressed…I know lots of people if not most are in the same boat. I’m not living beyond my means my vehicle is 12 years old for example!

I was hoping someone would have a few suggestions how I could make up some extra income during evenings and weekends? I’m posting extra things on marketplace today but I need something more reliable

Chantal Kreviazuk

I actually really love listening to her music but has anyone else been getting rubbed the wrong way with her “I WROTE their song, here is MY version”. Look at that list of contributors on this one for example. Gwen Stafani’s Rich Girl. She was part of it absolutely but to say she wrote it. Feels yucky.

Been noticing it being pronounced Church-(H)ill Park a couple times lately. Am I just of the old crowd and times are a-changing or what’s the deal? It’s always been Church-ul Park to me and mine.

I don’t want to set out poison (kids and pets) what is my best course of action- snap traps? Which ones are most efficient. They’ve created burrows in my garden….Do I need to worry about babies? Thanks

Our mortgage is up for renewal and although we have always gone with a 5 year variable I wondered if the current/projected market suggests a different option is a better choice?

My current lender is offering:
3.85% for 3 year variable
3.55% 5 year variable
4.34% 3 year fixed
4.34% 5 year fixed

An abusive partner of 50+ years died and the grieving process has been extremely challenging. No one knew who he really was except his partner and his daughter. He acted a wonderful man to everyone else. Friends and family are giving condolences for a “wonderful man” and it’s really hurting the mother and daughter. Grief is complicated for good relationships this is a mix of grief and relief. Which comes with guilt for feeling relief.

Now they have to plan the funeral for an abuser. The family will expect speeches but the mother and daughter cannot bring themselves to making up a fake story.

Any advise is appreciated.
