How I'm feeling if anybody tries to comfort me about next week being the finale

I'm not ready.

Also, Episode 9 was absolutely perfect. I completely would have accepted this episode as the finale.

Showrunners, cast and crew, we love you. Thank you for gifting us with this series and for the stunning, emotional, and hilarious conclusion that S5 has been so far.

Luna's love bites

Sandy*got snippy yesterday evening (5.14.2026). I'm not sure if they're love beakies or grump beakies (with a mix of wing chompies)- either a 'hello momma welcome to the snuggle pile' or a 'please stop aerating the nest, you're messing up my snuggle spot'. Sandy caught some crossfire bites too.

Edit: correction - the bitey one is Sandy! (titles cant be changed) I referenced the recap to ID but the recap made a mistake.

rent stabilized lease renewal + rider

I'm eager for thoughts on this or experiences with this kind of situation!

I'm in an illegally deregulated unit that was recently re-registered as rent stabilized. Management company sent a renewal lease but not the rent stabilized lease rider that details past rent, all the rights, etc (that they are legally required to provide with all vacancy or renewal leases)

I asked for the rider and the management company is pretending like they have no idea what that is.

Do I bother "educating" them and pushing for it? Or just go ahead and file the relevant complaints with DHCR. There is now documentation that I asked for it, and their response claiming ignorance.

rent stabilized lease + rider

I'm eager for yalls thoughts on this or experiences with this kind of situation!

I'm in an illegally deregulated unit that was recently re-registered as rent stabilized in Manhattan. Management company sent a renewal lease but not the lease rider that details past rent, all the rights, etc (that they are legally required to provide with all vacancy or renewal leases)

I asked for the rider and the management company is pretending like they have no idea what that is.

Do I bother "educating" them and pushing for it? Or just go ahead and file the Overcharge complaint and "landlord failure to furnish lease" complaint. There is now documentation that I asked for it, and their response claiming ignorance.

Chirples

For a few minutes before this, you could hear other birds vocalizing (including the ravens). Sandy sat and listened very carefully and then chirpled at them all.
