Finally happened... disclosed and dumped :(

I (F30) haven't been dating in a while, not for any particular reason, I just ditched the dating apps and focused on living my life and letting opportunities and people come to me. I started seeing someone a couple weeks ago and felt like everything was going so well. Our conversations were really stimulating, he was romantic and was really pursuing me.

On the 3rd date while talking generally about sexually compatibility, I disclosed GHSV2. In hindsight, in the anxiety of the moment, I think I focused too much on the negatives, and didn't reiterate how much I feel like I have a normal life with this virus. I did mention that I took suppressive therapy and that my outbreaks are mild and not very often. He said he didn't judge me and we continued our date as usual, but he broke up with over the phone a couple days later. HSV is 99% of the reason why.

It's hard for me to not be disappointed and upset, even though I can understand and empathize why he does not want to sign up for the exposure risk. This is my first time disclosing to a romantic partner, and I'm sad to think that this is only the first of many instances to come my way. But this is the hand I was dealt and I have no choice but to move forward. It just hurts. I'm letting myself cry today.

Is this your cat? Near St Marks and Albany

Looked very clean, was pretty friendly, doesn't seem like a stray. I pet him a little bit as I was walking home around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning

have a crush on my local dry cleaner, now I feel like a man

my favorite tailor/dry cleaner in my neighborhood is this very cute tattooed muscle guy, to the point where I've started going out of my way to look very nice and be more talkative than usual when I drop off or pick up something. I kind of want to ask him out but I'm scared of being a creepy man about the whole thing.

Looking for an Episode

What episode does a hotliner call in and wants guests to "feel more loved than before"? I thought it was the Julie Klausner/Cory Hanson ep but I guess not?

Uptick in "Water Bugs"

I live in a pre-war building and over the past few years, I would wake up to a dead ugly huge roach somewhere in my apartment maybe 3-5 times over the course of a summer. Now I feel like I'm seeing one almost every day! Typically they're not the infesting kind, so what gives?
An exterminator came out and laid another layer of poison last week, problem is they're obviously coming in from somewhere. None of my window screens look damaged, no obvious entryways around the exposed pipes... maybe the radiators? Any advice on what to look out for?

Has anyone successfully convinced their friends to leave their partners?

I know you're not "supposed" to tell friends to leave their partners but honestly I think some people deserve to hear it, and it's rude to keep it to yourself and watch your friends dissolve into their bad relationships.

I have a friend whose engaged to a spoiled jobless manchild with anger issues. He plays video games all day, mooches off of her and lives in HER apartment, and casts a man-shaped shadow of darkness and bad mood all over her home.

I have no proof of him being ""abusive"", I've just seen dozens of examples of him being an asshole to her and her friends, and I don't want to pretend to be happy that they're getting married.

We're good friends, not best friends, and at this point I'm okay risking our level of friendship to give her my honest opinion. She's stressed out about a few other personal issues and I think at LEAST pushing off the wedding until he gets a job or gets on medication is something she needs to know is an option. She doesn't have the best support system and I worry that no one is giving her advice.

Idk. I'm at this age where I have a couple friends in terrible looonnggggg term relationships and I don't get it.
