HR called me for meeting, asked about my boss and then told her what I said

Everyone at my job meets with HR every 6 months to discuss how the job is going and to make any necessary changes. For the first time since I started working this job I finally answered honestly that my boss doesn’t communicate much with me. When I reach out to her I rarely hear back at all. She doesn’t respond to emails, Teams messages and didn’t train me on very basic things.

Well after expressing this, HR immediately said that she was going to relay this information to my boss via email. I was not CCd on this email so I have no idea what was said.

Ever since then, my boss has been rude to me. I’m beginning to think I will lose my job because she seems to hate me. I regret saying anything to HR. I genuinely thought they wanted to know so they could improve things in our department and that it would be anonymous. That was clearly not the case.

Obsession with food

I’ve never had an ED, but since following Tam on TikTok I’ve been inundated by other accounts similar to hers, where it’s clear the person has an ED and has an unhealthy obsession with food, recipes, healthy eating, etc. It never occurred to me until now that people that are struggling with this are also equally obsessed with food.

I think a person without an ED thinks about food when they’re hungry, when planning meals, grocery shopping, etc, but these women are allowing food to take over their lives without eating much of it. 24/7 thoughts and WIEIAD, vlogs…

It’s just very sad. And the amount of TikTok and Instagram accounts that are promoting this type of fixation and obsession is going to create a huge issue for the younger generation. Feel sad for these girls that are impressionable.

What’s something movies always get wrong?

One thing movies almost always get wrong for me is interrogation rooms. In films they’re usually portrayed as dark, windowless concrete boxes with a single light hanging over a metal table. They often look like something out of the 1940s or a secret bunker.
In reality, most modern interrogation or interview rooms I’ve seen look much more like plain offices or conference room. Brightly lit, clean, and fairly unremarkable.
What are some things that movies consistently get wrong, especially about your profession, hobbies, or personal experiences?

Voicemails for Isabelle - Nick Offerman portrays ex Top Chef contestant

Has anyone seen this yet? It’s a new rom com on Netflix with surprisingly good reviews. Won’t spoil anything but Nick Offerman plays a pastry chef that finished 4th on Top Chef and he’s the biggest asshole ever. It shows working in a kitchen as pretty humiliating and awful.
