New unit not feeling as cold as I expected

Probably just me expecting too much but we bought 9000 btu unit for our small bedroom.

We have the 1.5m hose it came with vented out though a 4mm perspex sheet which is tight against the Frome with hook and loop tape. The hole for the hose is also sealed and airtight.

I have the unit plugged into the mains.

It goes down to 17 but the rooms at a steady 20 even though on high fan speed for a few hours.

Should I expect more or is there something else I need to do like dehumidify the room first?

Bought this without instructions Airmaster ACP09W

So I bought this and in my overheated slippery state I tried to set it up....I failed.

It came with a long thin clear tube which I plugged into the top connector which fed into a large plastic tub to collect any water that may have came out. 2 hrs later the container was full and the room didn't feel that cool.

I now learned that remote was set to auto (see remote photo). Does that mean it was also on dehumidifier mode hence the amount of water?

What pipe configuration do I use to have it on chill only? Do I even need the pipe if not using dehumidifier mode?

My hose is connected properly and that part isn't an issue.

I can't find much info on this unit so hoping someone on here knows.

Thanks in advance.

Weber Slate need advice regarding cleaning

Hi.

I have used my new slate 3 times.

The first 2 times I did smash burgers and chicken and it cleaned up no problem.

Tonight I did a Philly Cheesesteak and some sea bass.

When I cleaned it using scraping, heat and water I still am left with the dark areas in the images. Just checking this is normal?

I do lightly oil after drying and cleaning.

Thanks in advance.

How long 25oz bone in sirloin steak?

Hi.

Bought this 2.5" thick bone in Aberdeen Angus sirloin and wondered how long and what temp? Should I treat it like a thick rib eye and do the 137 for 4hrs?
