I made much more progress on some of my 26 in 2026 polishes than I originally anticipated. I figured I might as well keep the momentum going.

I've picked 3 bottles that I can confidently pan before the end of the year.

Also... I had a thought... I've always called my monthly racks, well, racks, because that is what the NailTubers call them. But, it occurred to me that they pick a bunch of bottles to choose from during a designated timeframe; whereas, I just pick what I plan on wearing. So, I thought I'd take make a change & call it a TBW (to be worn). The Book Tubers call their monthly book pile TBR (to be read), so that is where the idea came from.

I made a TBW for Halloween/October. I wanted to get my ideas on paper. So I put all the combo ideas I to a menu.

For my project polish this year, I picked 26 polishes to use 4x each & 3 glitter toppers to pan. I'm currently 91 manicures into the project!

(photo 1) I finished another topper! 🎉 I finished the 18ml gold shimmer topper after 34 uses in this project! This topper was the easiest to use. I did add thinner to help get out the last few uses, not because the polish was too thick, but to get the glitters off the inside of the bottle. I would not repurchase this, but I do want to get another gold shimmer topper.

I also rolled out 3 polishes this month (photos 2-5). The orange shows the least amount of use, even though I also used it as a pedi polish this month. It's a one coater, so it didn't take much.

(photo 6) I added a ton of thinner to my last glitter topper to see if I can make it last another month. Most of the glitter was stuck to the inside of the bottle, so it at least unstuck some!

My Sept rack (photo 8) only has 5 polishes + 1 topper, bc that's all I have left in this project!!

I'm almost done with my 26 in 2026 & then I want to try to pan a couple more polishes this year!

This is my first topper of the year. It's O*ly's What's The Big Teal in an 11ml bottle.

I'm panning 3 toppers & this is the first to be finished. The other 2 are 18ml bottles, so they're going to take a bit longer.

🎉 I am *SO* excited to make this update!!🎉

Firstly, (photo 1) I am calling the aqua triangle topper. I've added thinner so much &, for the last few uses, it's basically empty except for what is dried on the inside of the bottle, I'll add thinner & get another use out of it. It's mostly thinner at this point & it was causing my polish to smear, so it's Done! I put together a little collage of some of my favorite manicures I did during this project.

ETA: I used this 11ml bottle 20x for this project. I'm not sure how many times I used it prior, but it wouldn't have been more than 2 or 3x.

Secondly, (photos 2-8) I was able to roll out *all 6* of my polishes this month! I knew I'd end up having a big month at some point, so this is great! The yellow (photo 2) & blue (photo 7) did get 4 uses each, but I forgot to take photos for a couple manicures. 🫠 Oops.

The two remaining toppers (photo 9) are getting nearly done. I made a mark on the gold topper after the last use & then decided to add thinner to my toppers... Which raised the level of polish remaining. But, they're both so low that I am still confident I'll use them both before the end of the project. The stars topper is getting difficult, but has the highest level remaining.

You can see which polish I focused on this month (photo 10). July is fibroid awareness month, so of course, I had to wear a lot of teal. I really enjoyed that polish as a topper too. It works best when sponged on.

My August Rack (photo 11) is starting to look like fall... I'm so ready. Summer is not my season, but it'll be here for a few more months, so at least I can pretend with my nails.

I am exactly 75% of the way through my project & have 26 more manicures to go. I've panned 4 base coats, 6 top coats, 1 topper, & 5 polishes...which feels amazing to see all written out! I would have never guessed!

At this point, I think I can finish all 104 manicures by the end of September! Which is way earlier than I originally expected. I have already decided on a couple polishes to focus on for the last quarter of the year so I can finish them off before starting a new project next year. I have really enjoyed the rolling type project. I think it works well for how I like to use my polishes & I feel like it's allowed me to stretch my creativity muscles a bit too.

I can't find the post, but to the lady on the liquid diet due to colon cancer: I see you, this is hard, you got this, & good luck! 😘

As a lady on a longterm liquid diet, broth may be your best friend, but you need to marry a liquid protein. Request a GI dietician at your next appt. They are a huge help.

FML bc my original liquid diet post got removed for not being "substantial" enough & only including liquid foods (so, I'm reposting with a skyr) ... It's a rule, but, respectfully THIS is a sustainable meal for me. Especially since it's a million times better than a feeding tube which I am fighting to avoid.

Fuck cancer, fuck liquid diets, fuck the isolation & loneliness of having to watch everyone else crunch food, & fuck the comments from people who can't even imagine.

Dinner: high protein Boost in very vanilla, bone broth, coconut skyr (a paid actor), & Cholestyramine (literally a fucking prescription medication).

We are going camping for our holiday week, so no more new manis this month!

For my project this year, I chose 26 polishes to wear 4x each + 3 toppers to pan. I am about 60% to my goal & I estimate I'll finish sometime in October. I've rolled out about half of the 26 polishes.

Photo 1-3 - this month I rolled out an orchid pink & aque blue. I used the aqua for several gradients over the last 3 months, so it's got a decent fill line on it.

Photo 4 - I've added a lot of thinner to each of my toppers. They're getting low. I probably could have called the aqua topper, but I added thinner one more time & it filled it back up to last month's line, so it essentially didn't move. The star topper I had to guesstimate where the line should be. It's probably a little lower.

Photo 5 - The yellow dots are accent uses, the green dots are full uses, & the blue dots are prior month uses. I did a lot of gradient combos this month, which was really fun & I plan on doing that again next month too.

Photo 6 - July's rack! I will be able to roll out a bunch next month!

I reached the halfway mark for my 26 in 2026 this month! I've done 54 out of 104 manis, so just over 50% of my goal. 🎉🎉🎉

For this project, I picked 26 polishes to wear 4x each & am panning 3 toppers. So far this year, I have panned 5 bottles of polish (photo 1), 4 top coats, & 2 base coats. I currently still have a small stash of top coats & base coats, but am slowly making progress. I'm hoping I can stretch my base coats out through November.

This month, I was able to roll out 3 polishes!

The fuchsia I panned (photos 2 & 3) in 4 manis & 4 pedis. I intentionally only used it once a month (as a base) & it has been my designated toe nail polish through the spring. I also used it in a few gradients. This polish was one of the very first I bought when I first got into nail polish & I got a couple other similar color bottles... Which, I'm not sure why, because I don't love this color on my nails. 😅 I did enjoy panning it though!

The solar polish (photos 4&5) is a white to a light pinky purple. I know this polish is going to die soon. I bought it in 2023 & it only changes in very direct sunlight, so I rarely see it in the purple. I was able to pan a couple polishes earlier this year in 2 uses, so I borrowed those unused 2 uses for this polish. This is definitely on my to be panned list for next year. Also, I wore this with the matte top coat this month! It was a "soap nails" type of look.

The orange reflective glitter (photos 6&7) I also wore in 6 uses for the same reason. I had 2 unused uses from a panned polish. The fill line on this one moves a lot between each use, so I feel like I can probably pan this later this year after I finish my 26 in 2026. Especially since it's a good anytime of year neutral! I also wore this with the matte top coat.

My toppers this month got some decent movement. I was able to draw new lines on the gold & star topper with 3 uses each. I used the aqua topper 4 times, but had to add thinner, so I wasn't able to draw a new line. I'm still confident I can pan this by the end of summer. My plan for June is to focus on the star topper since it has the most remaining.

The last 2 photos are my monthly racks. I'm excited for June's rack. I'm planning on doing a lot of gradients. I think the purple creme (top row, right) is going to be my pedi polish. Since it's summer, I'm going to start doing pedis every 3 weeks instead of every 4 just so they're a bit more maintained looking.

I go through about one each per month. I have pruritis, so I do everything in my power to help prevent itchy skin.

I received this cream colored poinsettia for Christmas. It looks like there are 3 in 1 pot.

I don't know what to do. I figure it needs repotting & maybe pruning...?

Most of the leaves fell off by Christmas, but they seem to be coming back. We're a bit worried about leaving it inside because we have cats.

I hope everyone's projects are going well. I was away from my collection for the first third of the month, but I still managed to do 9 manicures.

For this project, I picked 26 polishes to wear 4x each & am panning 3 toppers. So far this year, I have done 42 manicures, so I am right at 40% to my goal.

Right now, I am guesstimating I should have all 104 manicures done by early October!

This month, I focused on a pearly white (photo 1 & 2) & a minty blue creme (photo 3 & 4). I played around with some gradients, which really made a dent in the minty blue. I broke a nail yesterday & decided to forgo a patch & just file everything down, so I didn't have to use as much polish on my manicure this morning as I normally would. Which means, I probably still have enough in the bottle for a pedicure. This particular polish is fairly thin already, so it's not gunky at all & still usable. If there is anything left after I do my pedi, I'm going to add it to another polish I've already rolled out of this project to lighten the color a bit.

My toppers are still moving steadily, for the most part (photo 5). The star topper is starting to get thick, so I've added some thinner. I used it 3x this month, but once I added the thinner, the fill line rose back to last month's line. That's OK. I know the aqua topper will probably be done either in May or June, so I will be focusing solely on the star & gold topper after that.

The last 2 photos are my monthly racks. For May, I'm going to focus on the white & orange polishes on the top row. Both of them have already been used twice, but I had some leftover uses from polishes I panned earlier this year that I added to these. So, they each have 4 more uses. The white is a solar polish, so I'd like to use that before it dies. The orange is a reflective glitter & the fill line moves a lot between each use, so I feel like I'll make a lot of movement on that one.

I also added a matte topcoat as an extra for May! This is to hold myself accountable & actually use it. My goal is 2x!

I want to add that I did make a point to check out the Project Polish flair once I got back from my trip, but it felt too late to comment. But, I did upvote & cheered everyone on slightly. 🎉❤️

I have Phonak Audeo I-90s... I think overall it was a positive experience, but...

1 - my ear canals hurt. I had my audiologist trade out the domes for a smaller size & they still hurt. It feels like sharp hard plastic in my ear.

2 - I've noticed some static when I try to turn up the volume. My audiologist set it at 90% volume for my prescription. I've also noticed static when my app does this Bluetooth + mic setting (see photo). This isn't an option I have & it only pops up occasionally when I open the app. There is also static when I open random apps on my phone, it stops when I close the app.

I really don't like the static... It's distracting.

I'll probably reach out to my audiologist, but the office is really frustrating to deal with. I don't have another appt until may, which I don't like.
