Hi there everyone.

We have two boys, 5 and 3 (shortly turning 6 and 4). Both American Bullies, from very good lines. They have been best friends since we brought the little one home. Our oldest is becoming increasingly independent as he ages, and the little one is now often left with hurt feelings when his brother turns his back on him, gets up and goes to another room to be alone, or just doesn’t want to play. I don’t shame them for having their needs, but just let things play out (unless either is being too annoying or very mean).

We had planned on getting another dog a few years ago, but didn’t for one reason or another. I’m starting to think that the little one would benefit from a younger companion and now might be a good time, not just for the humans.

For me, the increase in work from one bulldog to two bulldogs was not linear— the second one was much easier to raise. The smelliness increased exponentially, though. lol. What’s the change like when going from two bulldogs to three?

Additionally, what’s it like having a dog’s puppy in the house alongside them long term? Let’s say a male dog and his son. Does anyone have experience with this? Both dogs are very animal friendly and were both very well raised. They play well with other dogs and the youngest even enjoys grooming cats.

Mai grammaw is gone agin and ai too dupressed to dew crimez. Wat ai dew now? Ai don know when she commin back.

Ai haven’t rlly been feelin dat hungry. Only for chez. Mai momma sez ai’ll be O.K. an dat I haf tew eat to be strong. But ai know dat if mai grammaw wuz here, ai would be gettin chez all dai. She eben maykes sur ai haf different types of chez to sample. Dis taime Dey brought me mozz, emmental, and a gouda. But no Brie, which iz mai faborite.

Grammaw even let me AND Otto sleep in bed with her dis time, AT DA SAYME TIME. We made sure to gib her room for her feetsies. Ai bet mai momma wuz sooooo jealous hehehe. Diz wuz mai best crime, makin momma jehlous heheheh. Since she hasn’t been letting me sleep wif her eberyday anymoure, I know dat I showdeded her. I showed her so good dat yesturday she eben let bof of us sleep in bed wif her! She said, “oh, ok 🥺🥺🥺Even though you guys have been waking me up throughout the night, you can come up today. You look so sad! 🥺🥺🥺”

But ai did wake her up agin last nite. But only fibe taimes. Ai liek doin dis crime.

My bruther Otto is doin even worse den me. He verry mopey. But he is still eatins. I have never seen ottoz not hungry, mebbe he doin a depreshun eet?He lookin stocky, mai momma sez. She mentioned taking him for a “fat boy walk”, which she only brings up ebery so offen. Idk wat prompts it, though.
