Hey everyone - thanks for all the fervent support for Half Man & enthusiastic engagement with this sub. When I started it just before Episode 1, I didn’t know it would quickly grow into a community of thousands (we crossed a quarter million visits recently with a single day peak of over 100K on Episode 4 premiere).
This is my first time moderating a sub, I’d love to ask what y’all would like to see or any improvements that could be made that would make the final few weeks of the show viewing experience better here.

I'm wondering if anyone else is getting this; seemingly ever since I updated to Tahoe 26.5 (M2 with 16GB of RAM) I cannot stay logged into Messages.
I will open Messages & it will prompt me for AppleID. I input it, it will briefly load messages like it's working (albeit most recent messages are from 48-72 hours ago), and then it logs me back out asking for Apple ID.
Haven't found a way to get it to "stick". Not seemingly having Apple ID issues or iCloud issues across any other devices or when logging into icloud.com

I’m noticing an odd behaviour with iOS after updating to 26.5
Every time I compose a new message from the top right of messages, pulling down from home screen & hitting the messages button for bdays, or composing from a contact page the message will try to send as an SMS or RCS. Even when I know the person has an iPhone & isn’t travelling.
It’s very annoying as the only reliable way I can get an iMessage to send is by searching for that person in Messages & sending a message from the existing thread. Anyone else experiencing or noticing this?

Hey dog walkers - need some assistance with a daily walk (1 hour in the afternoons) for the dates above. Our usual walker has a conflict; we’re off 95th & Columbus.
Luna is incredibly sweet but very skittish & has stranger danger. Absolutely 0 aggression, she’s more likely to freeze & submit than anything so would love someone who can be patient & gentle with her. Solo walk preferred to group.
If you have a Rover profile or something equivalent please include in your response. we would prefer if you could do a test walk this week so she can meet you (and us) too!
Looking for two tickets to this event if anyone can’t make it or has any leads!

I’ve been noticing an uptick in reports of comments or posts that are devolving into uncivil discourse amongst commenters. The topics in Half Man are bound to be contentious & there’s no expectations that everyone will agree with Gadd’s work.
The beauty of art is that it speaks to everyone in different ways. Please remember to be respectful & polite with peers on this sub when engaging with one another.

I recently moved to W95th & Columbus but can’t find any BNG on Facebook for this area. I left my old one that covered W 107th.
Any tips or leads? Been super helpful with the move & consolidation.

First time I saw one of these, very welcomed. Surprisingly held on well despite some janky streets in the mid 100s.
I was laid off in Oct 2025 from a company that had 401K with Fidelity. There’s about $110K, all pre-tax, in in a 2060 fund.
My new job starting next week does not offer a 401K plan of any kind, so what would be ideal options for the old account?
I have a Roth IRA with Schwab with around $96K in it & intend to max that. I’ve heard I can roll the 401K into a Trad IRA but I think last time I did that I got screwed with contributing to my IRA bc of the pro-data rule? I have $0 in my Trad IRA but the account is open.
