Converting coat closet into Cat Claws-et. Would love ideas, please!

I have a tall but narrow closet that currently houses the litter boxes, but there is so much vertical wall space above the litter boxes that is under utilized. I would love to use it as combo storage space and fun climbing units to install on the walls.

My goal is to optimize the space for storage while giving my boys more climbing room.

Would love ideas on how to configure this space, recommendations for climbing units and anything else! Here’s what I’m planning so far:

Move the board games out obviously.
Remove the rack.
Replace swinging doors with accordion doors.
Maybe add a tile backsplash behind the litter boxes for easy cleaning.
Paint or wallpaper the inside.
Add storage space.
Add wall climbing units, ladders, bridges anything else fun.

including pics of my boys as a thank you 🙏🏽

1st - 2nd grade books for fan of Roald Dahl, Princess in Black, Mercy Watson?

Looking for chapter and early readers book to read each night with my 2nd grader. She is super smart but loses interest quickly. We have read these books together no problem: Princess in Black, Mercy Watson, Bad Guys, all Roald Dahl. Anything with humor, magic, some light potty humor, princesses, funny animals.

Mid-week activities with kids?

Visiting this week and searching for activities to do Wednesday-Thursday with 7 and 9 year old kids. What’s there to do besides Monticello and the discovery museum? We like easy trails and outdoor activities, history, arts and crafts and want to be careful of heat exposure.

I found some great stuff (river boat cruise, escape room) but none of those are available on a Wednesday or Thursday.

Beyond Filet recipes and cooking tips?

I finally ordered the Beyond Filets and the first one I cooked turn out good but not super flavorful. I covered it with salt and pepper, cooked in olive oil in a stainless steel pan, added butter towards the end.

I’m scouring the web for recipes and tips but not finding too many. Would love to hear everyone’s suggestions!

Favorite Mousse For Wavy Hair?

* I tried posting this to r/wavyhair but somehow didn’t meet the requirements *

I have 1c or 2a hair depending on the weather. I’d love to try a mousse but I don’t want to “force the curls” and I notice every mousse has “curl” in its name. I haven’t seen any mousse products specifically for wavy hair. Which mousse product do you love that brings out your natural wave pattern and doesn’t force it into being curlier than it is?

Giving a lot of details here so you can get the full context:

My hair: Medium thickness, damaged from heat and coloring. Cut in a shag with curtain bangs. It’s slightly thinning from peri. My hair is extremely frizzy.

In the past 2 years: I stopped dying and let it go gray and I love it! I stopped applying heat except for my bangs every once in a whilez

I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp so I treat my scalp and strands very differently.

Routine for my strands:

  1. Put small amt of carol’s daughter hair oil in prior to washing. I’m Indian and we’re big on oiling hair.

  2. Wash with medium temp water with amika forget frizz or biolage moisture shampoo

  3. Put in Amika conditioner and wash.

  4. Spray roots with heat protectant. Blow dry roots (seb derm gets worse when the scalp stays moist).

  5. Spray strands with water until sopping wet.

  6. Use ouia bond repair. spray and comb to spread products evenly while sopping wet.

apply anti-frizz leave in conditioner cream *** This is step I want to replace with mousse for a lighter feel ***

  1. use microfiber towel to gently pick up excess water.

  2. after it’s about half air dried, I spray amika anti frizz spray but only during the humid months.

Please put your fave mousse in the comments! TY!

I’m 5’2” in Peri, and 128 lbs. Goal weight is 112. I have tried it all since having kids - dietician, supplements, etc. I actually have a healthy diet and enjoy exercising, but it’s the food noise and intense sugar cravings that kill me.

I’m starting .25 of semaglutide soon and wanted to know your success or not so successful stories. How long did it take, did you have to up your dose, were you able to taper off or did you need to stay on it? Did it work, did you hit your goal?

Edit: Clarification
