Bus 70 Morning Peak Hour Is Becoming Ridiculous

Bus 70 Morning Peak Hour Is Becoming Ridiculous

Bus 70 morning peak hour timing is honestly terrible lately.

Waiting at bus stop 64129 during weekday mornings has become frustrating. The waiting time can get unnecessarily long during peak hour, and when the bus finally arrives, it’s sometimes still a single deck bus despite the heavy crowd.

By the time it reaches the stop, it’s already packed, boarding becomes slow, and the whole journey gets delayed further.

Bus 70 serves a high-demand route through Hougang/Buangkok and morning crowd levels are no joke. SBS Transit seriously needs to review the frequency and deploy more double deck buses during peak hours.

Does Anyone Regret Getting the 14” MacBook Pro Instead of the 16”?

Just saw the MacBook Pro 14” and 16” side by side again at the Apple Store and honestly… the 14” literally looks like an iPad with a keyboard beside the 16” 💀

The 14” looks so much more compact, dense, minimalist and “Apple-like” somehow. The proportions are super clean.

Meanwhile the 16” starts looking more like a traditional workstation laptop:

  • huge palm rests
  • massive keyboard deck
  • wider chassis
  • more “desktop replacement” vibes

Ironically I use a Pro Max iPhone, but for MacBooks I feel the smaller 14” just looks aesthetically nicer.

Anyone currently using the 14” and regret not getting the 16”? Or did you eventually realize the portability + proportions of the 14” is the sweet spot?

Mac only discoverable for AirDrop when Finder > AirDrop is opened?

Just got a new MacBook Pro and noticed that my iPhone XS can only detect the Mac for AirDrop when I manually open Finder > AirDrop on the Mac.

Once the AirDrop window is open, it works immediately. If closed, the Mac stops appearing again.

Is this normal ?

Finally entered the Apple ecosystem 🍎

Didn’t really understand the hype before, but having the MacBook and iPhone work together so seamlessly is actually kinda satisfying. AirDrop, iMessage, continuity… everything just feels connected.

Kept the setup simple and went with silver for both 🤍

MacBook Pro M5 Wi-Fi Speed Test ~ Is This Considered Good?

https://preview.redd.it/umht4anfyi1h1.png?width=1444&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f81ccd6055d841b30ce8c723b81cd036835d4e7

Just tested my new MacBook Pro M5 over Wi-Fi with my SIMBA + eero Pro 7 setup and got:

⬇️ 1321 Mbps download
⬆️ 1043 Mbps upload
📍 5ms ping

Honestly pretty impressed considering this is purely on Wi-Fi and not ethernet.

For those using MacBooks + Wi-Fi 7 / eero setups:

  • is this considered “good” performance?
  • what speeds are you guys getting realistically over Wi-Fi?
  • any tweaks/settings worth doing on macOS or eero?

Tested using Speedtest multi-connection mode in Singapore.

Spread my budget and finally went for the 24GB/1TB M5 MacBook Pro 😅

Finally took the leap of faith and bought the 14” MacBook Pro M5 with 24GB RAM / 1TB SSD.

Initially wanted to save money and go for 16GB because realistically my workload is mostly office work, photo/video editing , browsing, media, spreadsheets etc. But after reading countless Reddit threads and seeing how people are keeping Apple Silicon Macs for 5–7 years, I decided to just spec it properly once and stop overthinking.

Also figured:

  • RAM can’t be upgraded later
  • macOS + AI features will only get heavier
  • 1TB gives much more breathing room long-term

Chose Silver as well to match my current iPhone 😅

Finally entering the Apple ecosystem properly after years of using Windows laptops.

Wallet hurts now but hopefully future me will thank present me 😂

[TW: possible cheating]

I just ended a 1-year relationship and honestly I feel like I’m going crazy replaying everything in my head.

A few days ago, he went on a trip and something just felt off. For the entire year we were together, he was always consistent he would send me updates, Telegram bubbles of his hotel, show me who he was with, and always send a goodnight text before he slept.

This time it was completely different.

Replies dropped to like twice a day, no updates at all, no goodnight texts. Not even a single Telegram bubble of his hotel, which he used to send without fail. When I asked about it, he sent a video but only showed what was directly in front of him , not his surroundings, not himself. It felt so deliberate.

At first I thought maybe I was overthinking, so I didn’t react immediately. I just observed for a few days. But nothing changed. Same pattern, same distance.

I finally reached a point where it was mentally draining. I sent him a message saying I couldn’t continue like this because I felt like he was being secretive and everything felt off.

Then I asked him directly if he cheated.

His reply was:

“I’ll explain everything once I am back.”

“I’m sorry.”

He didn’t even deny it.

That was it for me. I ended things.

I don’t even know the full truth yet, but honestly I don’t think I need to anymore. His behaviour already told me enough.

What hurts the most is not just the possibility that he cheated — it’s how someone can go from being so consistent and open to suddenly distant and secretive like this. Like I didn’t even recognise him.

And now I just feel stupid for trusting him. I keep thinking maybe I should have seen the signs earlier, or questioned things sooner.

Has anyone gone through something similar? How do you stop blaming yourself for trusting someone who changed like this?

Hey all,

Just wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing this on iOS 26.4.2

When I use Spotlight search and type something like “Instagram,” the keyboard is instant, but the results area stays blank for about ~0.5–1 second before the app icon shows up (kind of like a “pop-in” effect).

It’s not a huge lag, but noticeable — especially since I remember Spotlight being almost instant before.

Context:

Recently updated to iOS 26.4.2
No other major performance issues
Trying to figure out:
Is this just normal behavior now because Spotlight searches everything (apps, contacts, messages, etc.)?
Or is it still indexing / rebuilding in the background?
Or is this a known issue with iOS 26.4.1?
