is this beyond repair?

this is my favorite shoes and i wear it every day. only the right pair(?) of the shoe is damaged like in the photo. i might sound stupid as hell but can i still fix this? i know it is a very cheap pair of shoes, but it has sentimental value and i just can't toss them away. i'm not a person that owns dozens of sneakers (if you can't tell already), so i'm unsure as to how i should fix this to keep wearing it... 🥹☹️

(fear of) undercooked chicken

i boiled ONE PIECE of bone-in chicken thigh for approx 10-12 minutes with some garlic. it was 2 am, i was very hungry so i didn't put a timer on but i was watching youtube so i knew how long it was. last time i did this, it took about 20 minutes or so for it to cook thoroughly. i was making boxed mac n cheese, and as it boils i was shredding the chicken..but it felt a little soft. i threw away some parts i was too skeptical to eat😭

is it safe? am i safe? because apparently, on google, it says to do it at least 15 minutes🙏💔 i haven't got any stomachaches (yet, maybe) but sheesh... god forbid.

broken english problem

i don't understand why they're talking like literal cavemen or something. i haven't had this problem even when i first downloaded the app in 2022-2023 ish.

tbh i only use this app once per sometimes only when i feel like opening it (or when i remembered i have the app installed.) but damn, i never realised how much it has gone downhill...

so, question: is it because i'm a casual user (not vip/premium), or is it like this entirely? i tried "training" it by editing them and after like 10+ turns, it doesn't change. it usually would—or at least that's how i remembered it🤷

newbie - asia libraries/branch?

i live in SEA and was unable to use the app. i tried multiple times to use a different countries' library and..other things. i wanted to listen to audiobooks (as of rn, im looking for brokeback mountain), and it requires me to use library card for basically a library which country isn't even registered in the app. any help? or should i accept the fact that this app is for users in america only...?
