Pizzas like Iggy's?

We tried Iggy's yesterday and it was fantastic. I love the dough/crispness, not a huge fan of squishier doughs or toppings/cheese that will just slide off. The only thing that is hard re: Iggy's is that it opens at 4pm and we're all the way in Ladson, so we have to kind of plan our whole day around it for dinner on a Saturday.

I will sometimes drop my partner at her workout classes in either Nexton or West Ashley, but we do a lot of errands in North Charleston as well (mostly Dorch, sometimes Rivers). Any pizza around these area that is closest to Iggy's? Crispy, not floppy/cheese not sloughing off/etc.?

My partner said her work orders King's a good bit off Ladson so will probably try that out soon as well.

[homemade] tofu with holy basil (pad kra pao style) and honey/5 spice/hoisin braised riblets

Sorry, didn't get a pic of the ribs before gf cut them up. My mum grows a ton of holy basil so my gf decided to pair it up with tofu. The ribs wer, just as in the title, marinated with hoisin, 5 spice, honey, etc. braised/slow cooked. Over rice. I would've actually pulled out some kimchi from the fridge for more acidity but I was too hungry.

[homemade] ribeyes with broccolini

A little overcooked. I prefer midrare but my parents prefer midwell. It was part of a prime rib roast we froze a few months ago so it still tasted great. The leftovers will be great for my mum's fried rice or stir fries.

Salted a few hours ahead of time. Patted dry, seared in a cast iron and then fired in the oven. One of them had a huge chunk of fat on the side so I cut that out to use for something else and tied it up to keep it uniform. I usually do add pepper as well but I thought I could add it in a pan sauce. Sadly, I messed up the pan sauce haha. So I just grinded some pepper on top after the rest and carve...which actually we really liked.

Still not great at cooking steak but will keep learning....

Finally moving in with my gf and I flubbed it

Well. Lesson learned. Don't pack when you're stressed during a holiday weekend and trying to do everything at once. It honestly looks salvageable, the mobo looks ok, GPU looks ok, but we will see next week when I try to set it up. The tower falling on my ankle cut me up a good deal but it's all good now.

[homemade] prime ribeye, gourmet sauce salmon, pumpkin stew, smashed eggplant salad

Prime ribeye was just salt and peppered ahead of time then seared in a cast iron pan and fired til somewhat medium. Salmon is some type of mix of gourmet sauce (yoshidas?) and other seasoning blends my mom uses with aromatics and bakes. The pumpkin thing is called Djam plei but you can use any type of pumpkin or butternut squash...she uses cream of chicken canned to make it thick. Otherwise something like cream and chicken bouillon works. The other thing is trong tle which is a Thai eggplant smashed with spices, herbs, tomatoes, etc.

[homemade] smoked brisket, lumpia, coronation chicken sandwiches, and more

Had a big potluck for a friends going away party. I did a smoked brisket. Others made things like shiopan, lumpia, focaccia pizza, banana pudding, etc.

Basic SPG brisket

A little dry. Should've foil shielded the edges on the kettle but otherwise, not too bad. Don't do too much of these and with the prices nowadays...who can?

Any good computer repair shops?

Howdy! I somehow kinda messed up my computer and am having trouble reinstalling windows. I've had some very computer literate folks helping me and still just running into walls. Does anyone have a computer repair shop they know of that isn't just like geek squad? I'm 100% sure my hardware isn't the problem, I might've just messed up a file or something along the way and it won't load in or boot from the USB.

[homemade] simple chicken rice with a chili, soy, and scallion/ginger based dipping saauces

GF basically pulled this together blindfolded. Some marinated cukes on the side. I know some people think the chicken/rice looks bland but you def have to try it sometime if you haven't. Poaching the chicken in a lot of aromatics and using the broth to cook the rice...then the sauces, super moist chicken thighs. I get some might not like the soft skin, though there are recipes out there doing variations to get crispy skin.
