Issue with items not being as displayed? I know I’m not alone in this, but am I being picky?

I discovered Vinted from a TikTok comment and have literally spent my entire fun budget for the month on it already! The thrifts around here just don’t have the same breadth of diversity and interesting items for under $30 lol

However, I have ran into an issue twice with the fit of stuff not being as described.

One was a mermaid style skirt where she laid it out in a way that exaggerates the mermaid bottom. It does technically flair out a good bit, but not to the extent that she tried to make it seem, but it’s pretty, so I just kept it lol.

A second seller listed an Indian wrap dress. I have owned wrap dresses and skirts, but this one is almost like an apron? It does *not* cover my backside, one good breeze and my whole cheeks are out 😭

Their pictures or description do not at all mention this. I even messaged her afterwards to ask if it’s actually a beach cover up, bc i was confused, and she said she was also confused about it and had the same issue. I’m not trying to be picky, but then why not mention that??? I cannot imagine a way to wear this without mooning a very( fortunate 💅 but) un-expecting crowd. The only thing I can imagine is that it is supposed to for someone very, very thin, so that the fabric has enough overlap, but she listed it as a medium so idek man

I love the design and how pretty it is, but I feel really conflicted. How am I supposed to wear this if my ass is out lol. I guess with a brown slip skirt underneath?? What do yall do in these types of situations?

First ever “abstract” painting. Had so much fun exploring colors and molding paste! Now, what do I do with it lol

I am one of those people that loves painting but *needs* it to look “good” for me to actually enjoy it. I’m sure I can dissect that thought process later, but I decided to try out abstract painting as a low-stakes way to get back into making art. Never thought I’d enjoy it as much as I did, but it was so fun! It’s not my preferred style of art to hang onto tho, so now im like…what do i do with this lol. Not looking for feedback or fishing for compliments, but does this look half-decent for giving away? The edges are messy and there’s bits of exposed canvas, so I don’t wanna sell it. It’s a bit “pride in the south” themed, so I thought of seeing if any local LGBQT groups might want it. The colors are more vibrant in person; reddits image processor greyed them out a bit. Thoughts appreciated! Thanks :)
