Mostly Exact Match for High-Ticket B2B Google Ads?

I’m thinking about moving our Google Ads mostly to exact match, and it seems like a good idea for our situation, but maybe I’m overlooking something.

We target a small geographic area and sell high-ticket B2B services. Our conversion volume is too low to realistically ever have enough data for Smart Bidding, so we use manual CPC.

We’ve used a mix of phrase and exact, but phrase keeps pulling in competitors, vendors, and other loosely related searches that never convert.

I’m thinking about building out 50–75 high-intent exact keywords per service. Since exact match now picks up close variants and same-intent searches anyway, it seems like we’d still get some discovery without giving Google as much freedom as phrase.

I know volume would be lower, but I’d rather get fewer highly relevant clicks than more junk traffic.

Has anyone running similar low-volume B2B campaigns tried this? Am I overlooking a reason not to do it?

What lead generation tools would you add to this B2B marketing stack if budget were not a major concern?

My boss recently asked what lead generation tools would be worth investing in if budget were not a major limitation.

We are a regional B2B company selling high-value, non-SaaS services.

Our current marketing and lead generation tools include:

- Mailchimp for email marketing
- Instantly.ai for cold email outreach
- Paid advertising across major search and social platforms
- CallRail for call tracking

We also use our website and landing pages to generate leads, but we do not currently have a dedicated marketing automation platform.

What tools would you recommend adding to help us generate more qualified B2B leads? It Could be a channel as well, we use Google, Meta, and LinkedIn mainly.

I am mainly interested in tools that would add a new capability rather than duplicate something we already use.

Would testing Maximize Conversions help revive a Manual CPC campaign for IT services?

We’re running a Manual CPC Google Ads campaign for IT services for businesses. It used to generate qualified leads every month, but recently conversions have dried up.

We still have more than 75% impression share, a CTR around 4%, and keep increasing bids on our top keywords to maintain visibility. However, many visitors now seem to bounce almost immediately, even from keywords that previously produced a strong ROAS.

Would testing Maximize Conversions help improve traffic quality and get performance back to where it was, or does this sound more like a search intent or landing page issue?

My main concern is that we only generate a small number of conversions per month, so I am worried Maximize Conversions may not have enough data to work effectively. At least, that is what I have heard.

Would it also be worth creating a branded search campaign so we consistently appear at the top above the organic results, or is that usually unnecessary for a business like this?

Website Menu not Showing

Multiple websites seem to be having issues today. They are using different themes, but the menu at the top of the page where you would normally publish, update, or save a draft appears to have disappeared.

Does anyone know if this is related to a recent update, or has Elementor moved that toolbar/menu somewhere else? Also a few of the menus aren’t loading properly such as submissions area and theme builder.
