IHG Premier vs Premier Select Card (devil is in the details)

I know there has been discussion here about the two cards and the benefits along with the higher fees. I was uber close yesterday to spending the 350 for the card til I drilled in to the details.
The Premier is my daily spend card as we accumulate points for hotel stays in Europe.
(No lie, I have 4 night stays in Germany in November, 4 and 5 night stays in Barcelona and Paris in February, and a 4 night stay in Edinburgh next May already)
I was strongly considering it til I saw the points do not go for gas and grocery with this card. Seems to me that the 350 card gets you net nothing more than F and B credit, an extra hotel night, and a small incentive to use the card for air travel if you don’t already have one of the other airline cards. You get a nominal Night jump, but for those of us who will already cross the 40k spend, I say this card sucks.

Anyone see other details I am missing?

Need Opinions: Gold to Platinum

Truly looking for opinions: Good, bad, or indifferent.

Long-time lurker.

Crossed the Gold threshold.

Backstory: I do not travel for business.

I have the Delta Business Platinum Card
I have the Delta Personal Reserve Card

My wife has already crossed the Silver threshold this year with our flights.

My better half and I have 3 international trips planned so far in 2027, plus 4-5 domestic trips.

Should I snag the Business Reserve late in the year?
As I forecast my Q4 spending plans, I can see a path to close to 15,000 MQD.

My ultimate question:
Is it worth pushing for it?

We fly out of RDU and utilize MSP/DTW/BOS in addition to ATL.

Thank you kindly in advance for your honest assessments.

MQD promotion with Hertz (laughable how bad Delta Car and Stays is without credits)

Received the email today promoting this sale.
Took a flyer since we will be in MSP this weekend for a little getaway just to see how bad Expedia for Delta truly is.
Results don’t lie.
Used my Delta Skymiles CDP code on Hertz and received the following rate.
Clicked through the Delta-pedia site and lo and behold it’s nearly 300 dollars more.

BUT
I would get that MQD boost though. Don’t need that since Platinum is unattainable for me this year.

Just amazes me that the discrepancy is so wide here.

Also, before the haters jump on me for only being silver and only getting to Gold, I’d like to point out that I don’t travel for work AT ALL and I get these levels yearly based on our vacation flights on my spending.

Delta-AF 350 3-4-3 economy configuration?

Notified of a plane change today. No big deal. I log in and see this Airbus 350-900 3-4-3 configuration in Economy. I’ve looked all over the internet seat sites and can not find an Air France/KLM/Delta or any other airline for that matter with a 3-4-3 configuration. Anybody know these?
My wife and I were originally in row 30 on the standard Airbus 350-900 I have viewed all over Aerolopa but I can not find this particular configuration. Dumbfounded and wanted to ask here. Any intel?
Yes, I know the standard line of these seats are horrible in addition to row 30 being near the toilets. It’s a SkyPesos flight that I got for less than 100k round trip to Barcelona.
I’m actively trying to decide if I should rebook as we typically do Premium Economy but Delta wanted 280 pesos for that.

Thank you in advance.
