Alright oh wise ones, let me have it. I have a PPQ 22 that I shoot here and there, I love my steel frame PDP and Q4. And I don’t “need” this PPK/S, but somehow I’m tempted. What are everyone’s thoughts? How accurate is it? Does it even come close to the old ones? Thanks in advance!

After enjoying the adjustability of my 590A1 with the Magpul stock and thinking back and forth about the Retrogrades I decided to pick up a foreend and stock and try out a thing and go retro. I definitely prefer the corncob foreend, the stock is longer though and obviously not adjustable. Should I have just bought another Mossy?

We’ve had our Quiksilver 10.0 for about 10 years, and it’s time once again for new tires. I’m debating lifting it at this point and putting bigger tires on it. Does anyone have a how to or list of materials that work? So far I gather a Torklift kit (but which one?) will raise it to clear 205/75-R14 which will improve clearance. The jacks and caster wheel I’ll figure out later.
Any thoughts?

I like to think of my 590A1 as a jack of all trades, but it’s definitely not my only shotgun either. I’ve come across the Vang Comp barrel upgrade option and am intrigued what those who have had it done thought about it. My 590A1 is threaded for chokes. Is backboring, porting and lengthening the forcing cone worth $300?
Are there other, perhaps better options out there worth considering?
PSA- Never been a fan of regular ammo boxes for storing mixed ammo so I’ve been looking for alternatives. Criteria included it had to be lockable, manageable weight wise when full and blend in without looking tacticool.
Ridgid Pro Gear System Gen 2.0 storage bins hold 400 rounds of 12 gauge as if they were designed for it and have two sturdy metal handles for carrying ease.
Quick trip to the range and ten rounds at 5 yards with my PDP Compact SF.
If only I could match that at 15 and 20 yards.
If you ever thought about getting the PDP SF or Q4 SF, get both!
Looking for some opinions regarding the finish. I restored my new to me 1972 Ithaca 37 na d was going to reblue it, but I’m liking this worn finish look. I live in a relatively dry state, how can I best preserve the finish, or should I just reblue it? I already bought a kit.
