My sibling lives in Philly, and she invited me to come up for the ASG and/or Home Run Derby. Unfortunately, ticket prices are pretty high so unless they come down it's likely not an option for us, but I was looking online and wondering if it might be still worth a visit to explore the All Star Village that Monday/Tuesday.

Philly isn't a far trip for me, but was just curious whether the Village is exciting for young adults or if it's more geared towards kids? I'm not expecting to meet Aaron Judge nor do are we ones to wait 3 hours in a line for Vlad Guerrerro Sr's signature. So what has your experience been?

As title says, I just got into tobacco cards and am feeling a bit overwhelmed. For those who have been collecting for a while, where did you start? If you started with a wide net, how did you narrow down your PC? Is there a book or website you might recommend to look through all sets?

I’m a big history guy, baseball fan, and coincidentally live in Richmond so I absolutely love the A&G sets that say Richmond on the front. But as I said, being somewhat of a novice, I feel like I’m seeing items online and just “panic” buying to a degree since they’re cool and in my head, “how often does a 130 year old card come to market?!?”

Just curious if anyone has some advice or personal stories to share. Thanks!
