inline resistors to go from 5v to near 0.5v-1v
I know this is not the right way, I know I'm wanting to do the wrong thing with the wrong parts
I have a 5v power line, a ground, and a potentiometer. I am trying to show the potentiometer bottom voltage is too low and causing a problem, I want to 'bleed' in 0.5v-1v additional voltage to increase the outgoing potentiometer voltage as a test to see if the problem of low voltage output from the potentiometer is the problem
I'm just going to put a bunch of inline resistors and a diode inline and see what happens but I'd rather find something with less connections
