Hi, I have a PS4 controller that won't turn on using the PS button... Charged it all day and the orange light came on fine. The PS button wouldn't turn it on so I left it to charge for a few hours.

Came back, the orange light was off as the battery was full. The PS button still didn't turn it on.

I could get it to turn on by holding down the share button and the PS button at the same time. I connected it to my PS4 using that method.

It came on and everything on the controller worked. Then it disconnected and turned off after about 5 seconds. Did everything again and again, same result every time.

The battery icon says it's fully charged and I noticed the PS button doesn't do anything when connected either.

Does anyone know what the problem is and what needs to be repaired on the controller?

The price for this game here is ridiculous from what I've seen. (€75 from CEX).

I'm wondering if I can import it from North America and use it without issue as I know some games are region locked.

I ordered a game collection (which is limited now as it was officially discontinued in March) on the 5th of June and paid extra for priority shipping over seas. Was excited to see Amazon still had them in stock.

It was supposed to arrive on the 10th and got delayed to the 14th... The whole time the package was stuck on "Label Created, we haven't received it from the shipper yet".

Contacted support on the 11th, they told me they would refund me the priority shipping by putting $15 into my Amazon account. (Still hasn't happened btw).

Yesterday I contacted them again and asked them for a replacement order because I thought they lost my package and I saw they still had my item in stock.

​

They sent me an email with an incident report form for my order. I asked them if I should reply to the email with my information, they said yes. (This was sent right after I asked about a replacement order, mind you).

​

I filled out the form and sent it back... Next thing, I get an email confirmation for my refund which will be in my bank account in the next 10-days.

​

I never asked for the refund and they never mentioned it was for a refund. Even the form they sent me had no mention of a refund.

​

I challenged them about this and they put me through to three different associates that gave me the same pre-programmed button response for "we are very sorry to hear".

​

None could be bothered to type except one who said he'll put stuff in his notes for his supervisor to upgrade my new order of the game collection to priority shipping free of charge. (Because I did re-order it after the refund).

​

I doubt I'll hear anything of that again... The good news is, it seems my package is actually on the way this time... It actually got past "Label Created"! 😱

Ironically, I think priority shipping messed up my order in the system anyway and flagged it as shipped when in reality, it was just sitting in a warehouse.

​

I've never had issues with Amazon in the EU. This is my first proper Amazon US experience. Fun!
