2023 Asus TUF A15 Ryzen 5 7535HS RTX 4060
Came with 16gb ram and 512gb storage and I added a 2TB stick in the second slot before AI mania took over the world.

I got this at the end of July 2025. I paid $750 off a Staples deal for it. It’s worth noting I am a HUUUUGE tech noob but even I felt that this was steal.

I’ve always been a console guy so why I got it? I had to retire my PS4 due to lack of space for it and no tv in my then new environment. I still wanted to play games so a gaming laptop was the logical step or a handheld but I went laptop anyway.

EXPERIENCE: it has been great for me. Everything I threw at it it took without worry except for a smal hiccup that never showed its face again. It was my first day using it after getting it. I played Forza Horizon 5 and in the middle of a race I got a pop up that said the laptop or game ran out of vram. I honestly don’t remember what I did but I knew I could still play the game. That pop up has not appeared for Forza or any other game I played since. Weird.

Another scare was the laptop screen flickering on two occasions. Freaked me tf out but thankfully I forced reset it and it’s all good. On the second time I went to Reddit and I was told to reset graphics drivers and it worked.

Shortlist for games I played often that I have NEVER needed to adjust settings to play properly: EA FC 25 & 26, GTA V online, NBA 2k 26, NFS Heat, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, Hogwarts Legacy, Cities Skylines 2, Football Manager 25 & 26, The Crew 2 & Motorfest, GOT Kingsroads, Nobody Wants To Die.

I was worried about the WiFi card thing but I have no issues with my WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity so far.

The TUF A15 has been great for a first ever gaming laptop. I just HATE HAAAATE windows on this thing. At times it feels an old man and I know it’s this damn OS doing something to it.

I was thinking about Linux in the near future. What y’all think?

Been playing Naruto Storm 3 with no issues so far. At a consistent 30fps.

Xbox 360 gaming future is looking bright.

Only bad thing happened to me is that I was doing some combos and accidentally pressed the Start button that kicked me out the game and lost that progress. 💔🥀

I got a 256gb sd card and I’m trying to fill it out. Please give me some PSP/PS2/Xbox games to play on this RP6🙏🏾

Carrier: I paid for DHL but they changed it to YunExpress so I wonder if I could ask for them to refund the difference. 🤔

Plans for it: I grew up with Nintendo DS and PSP so I will be playing games for those. Especially the games I couldn’t get as a kid. Also play games I didn’t grow up like entire early GoW catalogs, Saint Row games, Legend of Zelda. I will also see what can be done for some steam games.

Unfortunately due to the Odin 3 starting delivery in August I decided to get the Retroid Pocket 5 instead because I was NOT going to wait that long and I wanted the handheld experience as soon as possible. Also the 12 gb Retroid Pocket 6 version was not available when I ordered my RP5 and the 8gb version seemed like a waste of time for me.

The messed up part is after I ordered the RP5, the RP6 12gb version was made available again. 💔😒

So sadly my AAA title usage is already in the gutters but it does give me an opportunity to broaden my horizon for old simpler games.

What about putting it on Hiruzen so he finally grows a pair and reprimand Danzo?? And while he’s at it make Hiruzen actively hunt down Orochimaru and either kill him or capture him. Jiraiya getting help looking for him would surely increase the chances of success of finding Orochimaru.

What about placing Danzo under Kotoamatsukami and make him either: a) actually do what’s in the best interest of the village without doing or causing unnecessary problems and he would think it’s him doing it of his own will or b) turn himself in and confess to his crimes resulting in the Foundation being disbanded or completely under the Hokage control.

Planning to waste it on Sasuke is even more annoying given that his actions pushed Sasuke to the path he was afraid he’d turn to.

If he can do that why doesn’t he make new legs????

So I am stuck between buying the Ayn Odin 3 Pro 12+256gb or the Retroid Pocket 5 or 6. I understand these machines shine the most with old titles that don’t demand much of them.

But I’ve been watching reviews and it seems the Odin 3 and Retroid can do some AAA gaming. My question is what AAA titles can be played on these?

TECHNICAL NOT A TUF RELATED POST but any suggestions would be great.

I got this Anbernic RG P01 controller almost a year ago(July 2025) and it was great for awhile but I think it’s time for a upgrade.

Reason: this controller is meant to be wireless but from the very first day I got it it has been poor wirelessly. I am under the impression that it’s my WiFi card that’s causing it to not connect or the controller is just bad when it comes to wireless use.

I have been using it wired for my whole ownership and last night I have had enough of this thing. It keeps on disconnecting WIRED in the middle of gameplay and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to fix it. But there’s a 90% chance that doesn’t reconnect the controller and I have to restart the game or laptop itself to connect back to the laptop.

What’s the next best controller to get and where to look to get the best deal???

Long story short: I drank the koolaid and download G-Helper. It was great for a couple months but then I ran into a problem. Not really a problem but more like an annoyance. Armory Crate just brought itself back from the dead somehow. So I have both it and G-Helper activating whenever I press the button. How do I get rid of Armory Crate permanently???

Context: I was about to play EA FC with friends and then a pop up asking if I want Epic Games to make chances to my device and I clicked yes cause why not then this started happening.

As of posting this I restated the laptop and everything seems fine. This has happened before but I’m curious as to why it happens. Any help?

I think we all agree that Jiraiya was one of the most versatile shinobi in the series. If you disagree then we need to set up an appointment to get you a psychiatric evaluation.

Anyways, with how deep his bag is, it would’ve been nice to see Naruto use more of his arsenal.

Me personally? I would’ve loved to see Naruto use Needle Jizō.

The other cool techniques are really espionage focus and that’s not really Naruto’s style. The irony of that is funny to me lol.
