⚠️ What happened

• You were on your way home from work.
• You were stopped at a traffic light.
• When you tried to get going, the bike suddenly shut off.
• You described it as shutting off “as if I turned it off.”
• Afterward, you tried turning the key on and off.
• The lights remained/continued to come on.

🔑 Ignition/key behaviour

• When you played/wiggled the key in the ignition, the lights would come on.
• This means the position/movement of the key appears to affect the electrical system.

🔋 Starting behaviour

• The bike doesn't start.
• When you press the starter button, the electrical system just dies, similar to a battery having no juice.
• You subsequently clarified that the bike also doesn't bump-start.
• A different battery has already been tried.

🔧 Other information

• The stator and rectifier are already new, so you don't want to blindly replace those again.

Any Ideas? I'm considering ignition switch or fuse problem is likely or bad connections but not sure.
