Prototype sharing during interviews

Currently working on the agency side working on a project that’s conducting remote testing next week.

Stakeholder wants me to share my screen with the prototype during the interviews, meaning I would be doing the clicking, not the participants. They’re building a back up version that’s accessible via Figma I can share with participants. One concern they flagged is the UI interaction on Figma won’t be the same as the internal prototype link, but I explained to them this is a prototype and I can explain that to participants too.

I’ve always done testing where I share the prototype link to the participant and have them “own” the interaction/exploration. My gut says I should push back and say we go with the Figma link to share with participants for the reasons I stated above. On the other hand, are there any positives for having the participants telling me what to do as I share the prototype on my side?

Any tech workers interested in attending the Tech Roast LA show 8/7?

I'm a fellow LA hot girlie who works in tech. Most of my tech friends live in the Bay while my LA friends work in other industries. I'm personally interested in attending the LA show, and thought it would be fun if I went with other tech workers as well! Drop a comment if you're interested :)

Tea on Jen Rubio

Cofounder of away luggage married to Stewart Butterfield, who was a cofounder in slack (slack got acquired by salesforce for a cool $27.7B in 2021).

I’ve been long time follower of her since I like her fashion style. Been noticing she’s been engraining herself to nyc socialite scene by hanging out with LSD and Tisch family.

Where to go for solo dining on a Saturday night

I happen to be in town for a very quick weekend NYC trip this week. I'm planning on doing a solo dinner on Saturday night after my events (near Hudson Yards). What are some recent good meals you had that you recommend? If it's not the usual IG spots, even better. Budget is unlimited. I want something good, but probably not a set menu situation since I'll be tired. Love a good bar dining experience.

Beginner here. I have a growing personal account and did outreach to brands that align with my niche. One brand responded and I scheduled time for us to talk tomorrow.

Since this is my first time doing something like this, how should I prepare? What should I do? I have a rate card that I shared with the brand and they went slightly lower than my 1 video rate. Thinking of negotiating up, whether its hook variations or something else.

Considering buying a Balenciaga bag from Tiny Jenny. It will be my first time buying from her, but not my first reps. Want to get a check on anyone else’s experience buying from her.
