Moms! What are some things that you wish you could make easier when it comes to parenting. My LO is 6 months and he’s not really a Velcro baby anymore but he DOES NOT and i repeat DOES NOT like to sit still for very long lol. He loves to be taken by the hands so he can walk ,loves being in his walker, and is slightly starting to crawl. When he sees me bagging milk he gets upsetty spaghetti like I’m throwing it away or something lol. Bagging milk while carrying a 20lb baby was something i wished could be made easier so I bought a baby sling which helped me out a lot! Any other moms with tips and tricks that made something easier for them or they haven’t been able to find anything to make a certain task easier? This also doesn’t have to be baby/kid related…life can be hard in general lol

Hello moms! I am a first time mom to a 6 month old. I am also LEO who will be going back to work in a couple weeks. I am having terrible anxiety about having to leave my LO alone at night with my fiance. He sleeps hard and doesnt wake up at all sometimes when our LO cries. I work shift work and there really isnt much of an option to get out of the rotation of days and nights. I asked him a couple months ago how he can sleep through a screaming crying baby and not an alarm and he said he blocks out the crying. I believe that is what really has my anxiety through the roof. He is also the “babies are going to cry” type of dad which really irks me as well. To a certain extent that is true but our LO only wakes up crying at night for 2 reasons, having wet cloths from peeing through a diaper or being hungry. Any tips or shared experiences that have worked would be great!

Any really good daycares in LC? My LO will be 6 months when i go back to work. Im looking for a daycare that have cameras that I can access remotely.
I am currently transitioning out of law enforcement after 6 years on patrol. Are there any available jobs in or around the area for corporate analysts/investigator/compliance. I would like to use my LE experience with investigating to start in those fields.
Hello! Im a 26F looking to get out of LE with 5+years of experience on patrol and some extra work in detectives. I just had my son in January of this year and I always said once i started my family i was going to start planning my way out with what experience I have gained. I absolutely LOVE my job but I dont want my son worrying about if im going to make it home when he gets older. Are there any former LEO’s that have moved to a different career that they can apply skills from LE and transition smoothly lol. I have a lot of coworkers that left for plant jobs, oil field, sales, security companies, etc and end up right back at the pd because they were miserable. Any advice will help!
