Bought from the original owner, came with a box of goodies and the manual. Made in Japan.
Gave it a good cleaning and oiling and it seems to run nicely. I love these vintage all metal machines.

Bernina 950 industrial. Cleaned the bobbin area, oiled the hook, brushed lint away. Now the underside of stitches look like this. How do I fix?
It annoys me. If I’ve got clips on the fabric on that side, they don’t fit under the edge and sometimes I want to put my fingers there…
If I’m not super thrilled with an item, I have no energy to continue with it. Or, if my plans are too detailed, like adding embroidered patch pockets, I lose the motivation to get it done. How do you power through?
Just changed out my clutch motor for a servo and it came with this part, there are no install instructions and the YouTube video I watched to install doesn’t reference this part. Also, I’ve installed the motor but if I attach the belt shield, it will rub the belt.
The piece in question doesn’t seem to fit in the belt shield area but that was my first thought, to give a little room somehow between the belt and shield.
Getting closer and closer to making things that actually fit me. The skirt is too big, will attempt to resize it. The blouse probably should have had an additional button in the front and a different interfacing. Overall, happy with the progress I’m making though.

Can not wait to learn this machine!
This was at a local resale shop for $99, “as is”. Is it worth trying to rehab? The motor seemed to turn but I have no idea what it needs.
Which is better for cataloging your pattern stash?
Looking for a dress pattern for a lightweight navy polka dot crinkle gauze fabric, something like this might work. Any suggestions?
What’s your preference? I much prefer the look of darts and realized I will pick patterns with darts over princess seams every time.
I’ve never been able to wear a fitted button down shirt because my shoulder to bust to waist measurements are all out of whack. I’m two sizes smaller on top than on bottom and almost all store bought dresses have a giant gap behind the neck. I’m looking forward to being able to fix all of these things. What about you all?
They advertise custom patterns - you enter your measurements and get something tailored for your body. For $5.00. Seems too good to be true, was wondering if anyone had tried them and what your experience was.
