Noise when Bull is hiding in the barn

I’ve always wondered about this and I just happened to be watching this episode again today. When Bull is hiding in the barn during market garden, he is not moving and the farmer and his daughter are not moving and as far as I can tell, there are no animals, but there’s a loud sound that sounds like something or someone kicking a metal bucket. Where did that sound come from?

British tank Commander in the replacement episode

In the scene where Martin tells the British tank Commander, there’s a German tank ahead, the commander says he can’t fire into a building unless absolutely necessary and then proceeds to drive directly in front of the tank getting people killed. I understand the order he had, but could he not have sent one of his men ahead to visually confirm the tank or if his orders were that he had to see it himself could he have not gone and confirmed it himself? It seems strange that their orders would be that even with good information they have to drive directly into enemy fire if they can’t see it first.

Dumb little detail I just noticed

As many times as I’ve seen it somehow I just noticed this. In episode one when Sobel is chewing out Winters, he tells him this is not dog company, this is not Fox company. This is easy company. Saying that easy is far superior to dog and fox. On the outskirts of Carentan dog and fox are the ones that retreat when they’re not supposed to, leaving easy on its own.

Very mildly interesting: in season 6 episode 20 of King of Queens at 16 minutes

They do the exact same trick Saul used where he had all the cell phones with cards under them with the people‘s names and descriptions of who they were for the DA to call. I’m guessing this is where they got the idea for it.

What are the ballet actions ending in té ?

I'm writing a poem that will use a small amount of ballet language. I really like the sound of words ending in té for this. I know of grand jeté  and sauté fouetté. Are there any others ending on that sound?

Thanks for any help

Just got around to watching Train Dreams

Excellent movie and I know it's been mentioned here because it has a similar feel to Red Dead Redemption. The thing that struck me about it as being so interesting Is that if you imagine taking an NPC from Red Dead Redemption and making a whole movie about him, that's Train Dreams.

Crucial change to phone mechanics in invasion mode for SE6

When you call a phone, instead of giving you the enemy sniper’s location, the person on the other end should give you fatherly advice.

A friend who lives in Saudi Arabia opened her window one morning and this snake was waiting there. She got a good look at it multiple times and is sure of the length, which seems very long for a snake in Saudi Arabia. We were just wondering what it is and whether it's dangerous to humans. She's seen it in her window twice now. Here is a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/g-loU_0gjlo
