I was almost out of the garage, got an important call while entering the car in a hurry, and my dumbass forgot to close the door.

Looked at the camera , it is clear... Backed up and caught the garage frame.

2026 Model Y right rear door edge is bent where it meets the fender, paint cracked along it. Luckily, door still shuts with no issues, no warning, no errors, glass is not broken. Fender looks fine.

Anyone paid to fix something similar these? Tesla or a normal body shop ? I think i am okay with them just straighten this for now but that crack needs to be filled too probably..

I am so sad man.. still in shock how the heck I forgot that door open and backed up like that..

A couple weeks ago I posted about DiscogMix in here, the chrome extension I built as a solo dev that shuffles multiple artists' full discographies into a normal spotify playlist.

Normally to do this you have to manually add a bunch of songs or albums into a playlist yourself. With this you just select the artists and it does it for you, full discography in a couple clicks.

Quick follow up: it has 19 users now. Small, but real, and better than zero. So thanks to anyone who tried it.

Got useful feedback since then and shipped two changes from it:

- Single artist works now. It used to need at least 2, but people wanted just one artist's full discography, so the minimum is 1.

- You can play a mix in release order instead of shuffled. If you would rather hear a discography start to finish, oldest to newest, there is a toggle for it.

On the free tier you get 3 mixes a week, plus 7 mixes as a welcome bonus when you start.

Still runs in the spotify web player and saves a real playlist that syncs to your phone and everywhere else. So, even if you are not using web player, you can just create your playlist and play anywhere you want and also share with your friends.

Spotify's artist page shuffle only queues around 30-60 songs, mostly the popular ones, and there is still no way to play 2-3 artists' full catalogs together unless you build a huge playlist by hand.

As a solo developer I built this extension that runs in the spotify web player on desktop chrome. You pick your artists, it pulls their full catalogs, shuffles everything together and saves it as a playlist. You can use per-artist weigh sliders to adjust how you like your playlist.

Even if you are not a PC/Browser listener, what it creates is a true spotify playlist in your library, so it shows up on your phone, in the car, on speakers, wherever you normally listen and you can also share them with your friends.

There is a free tier with 3 mixes per week (up to 3 artists) and an extra 7 mix as a welcome. This is probably enough for most people weekly. But if you want unlimited mixes and atrist selection (10+), there is a paid tier for a small amount if you wanna support so I can continue building stuff like this.

On privacy, since these kind of extensions get fair questions: there are no analytics or tracking in it and it does not collect your listening history or any personal info. Since I collect nothing, there is nothing to sell to 3rd parties.

It uses the spotify tab you are already logged into, your session stays in your browser and it never sees your password. The only thing that ever touches my server is a one-way hash of your spotify user id to check the weekly limit, it cannot be reversed back to you.

This post is not meant to sh*t on FSD. My only goal is to raise awareness about this situation so others can be more cautious. I’ve already reported it to Tesla so they can investigate and fix it. Hopefully preventing potential accidents or saving lives in the future. And please read the updates before sh*tting on me 😄

This was a two-lane highway. The navigation was showing a U-turn, so I assumed it was for us. However, it was a WRONG WAY for us and a turn for the opposite lane.

We are lucky it was late at night, and no other cars were attempting to turn there.

I realized it was a problem the moment I saw the "wrong way" sign, but the car was already entering the turn lane. I had to disengage because I couldn't trust it could make the turn with oncoming traffic.

I am a 3 week old Tesla owner and FSD was doing well. This was a scary experience..

Guys, I see that some people asking "why didn't you take over immediately?"

First , as I mentioned we are new to FSD and in honey moon phase.. I am always watching what it is doing, but so far we were so impressed with it, I did not assume it was gonna do something like this.. okay ? We had many experiences in 3 weeks that it made us say WOW, this is really good.

Second.. I am human... Car was going straight on the left lane by 20mph.. Yes it slowed down and I was assesing the situation to see where it is trying to do a U turn, but I did not assume it was gonna do a sharp turn to wrong way and try that. When it did, it shocked me and my Wife and then I immediately took over.

I hope this makes sense.

for the people thinking I am not supervising the car. I understand and respect you can think that from the video only.

In that moment, yes I am "supervising" the FSD to see what it is gonna do. for 1-2 seconds before that, both me and my wife discussing like "no way it is gonna turn from there, right?". Then it jumps in the lane.

Yes, if this was broad daylight with traffic , I would probably not even let it go that far and took over immediately. But this was late at night with no car in our lane.

So, I am at least happy to report this and it happened to us without a crash, so it can save many lives later hoping Tesla sees the report and fixes the behavior.

I have this sound while the car is in the garage, no charging , doors open so A/C kicks in. I know it is not gonna be silent , but wondered if this sounds normal for you guys as well or not ?

Thank you everyone for showing concern for my Tesla and focusing on the fan sound instead of the chirping in the background. 😂

For those concerned about the smoke detector, I have a box of old ones in the garage, that's where the sound is coming from, not the one at the top. 😄

But just for you guys, I am gonna put a new battery in that old one, so that guy can smoke happy alone in the box 😂
