You get money

A. Get $1,000 to your bank account with no questions from authorities.

B. Get $5,000,000 in cash that you won't be able to explain. $5 mil has also magically disappeared from a local millionaire, and they got sent your drunk photo from 5 years ago along with "lol, thank you for the money" from an untraceable account.

C. Get $20,000,000 in cash that you won't be able to explain. Same amount of money has disappeared from charity organizations that support severely ill people. They got sent a low-quality photo of you with "lol, thank you for the money" from an untraceable account.

Your choice? If B or C, what would you do?

Three wishes for three people

Genie gives you a chance for three wishes. But asks you to be very careful.

You have to write them down for him in a format "I wish that I... (do or get whatever)".

Thing is that one wish from your list takes effect FOR YOU, one for a random 12yo kid living in your city/town, and one for another person you know who wishes bad to you and gossips about you.

Who gets which will be determined randomly and Genie wouldn't be able to change the will of the Random spirit.

NB: wishes can't mention you by your username or imply they are actually about you or anyone other than "I". For instance, "I wish I give all money to *username*" is not acceptable.

Now tell me your three wishes? 💫

1 hour with your mom or dad when they were 5

You pick either your mom or dad (biological only). You get dressed appropriately for the era and teleported in a year when your parent was a 5-year-old kid. Everyone thinks you are a distant relative who only has one hour before they are flying home. So you are trusted to spend an hour with them, playing or talking.

You can't bring any modern objects with you, and what you tell them or teach them might impact their future choices in life. But remember they are only 5 so teaching them about investment or marriage would look weird 😅

How do you use this time?

$50 mln allergy

You will get $50 mln for living two full months with every food allergy ever known to humanity (except water). Every food a human can ever be allergic to you will become allergic to.

However, food allergies you actually objectively have now, if any, get cured for these two months.

You get the money after two full months, new allergies go away and your old ones come back. Ending the experiment earlier and making these new allergies stop is available at any time but would bring no payment.

Are you participating and what is your strategy to stay as healthy as possible?

What if NOBODY was raising their biological kids?

Imagine if the world was built in a way that all expecting parents or single pregnant women had their newborns randomly rearranged between them after they give birth.

Like, all newborns born within past 24 hours are randomized and instantly teleported between couples/women who just gave birth. Globally. By some computer, no way to program it to leave a kid in their country or city or whatever. A stillborn or kid that unfortunately wouldn't make it would still be randomly assigned to someone, sadly.

With all medical papers (mother identity hidden) so that the accepting hospital knows what care this infant needs.

And assume people are emotionally okay with it and are used to it. They wanted a baby? That's their random baby and they'll treat it like their baby because it is! Nobody feels bad or seeks to find their "real" child, newborn randomizer is just a fact of life nobody ever questions.

Worst short movie for $1,000,000

You are to create a 10-minute short movie with a plot, actors, dialogues, music. You can hire anyone and access expensive resources, all production is free for you.

After your work is ready, it is shown to 1 million anonymous viewers from across the world who will vote 👍 or 👎honestly. Viewers are 18 years old and older.

They don't know their votes are giving/taking money, so they won't be doing 👍 out of bitterness.

Each 👎 reaction brings you $1, each 👍 reaction takes $2 away. So if your bad movie is really liked you can end up in debt.

What would you plan to create so that it brings you most money?

Who would you release?

You wake up in a black room with Evil Spirit in front of you. He tells you that a teenager was killed in city X that you would never visit. YOU were chosen to be an anonymous decision-maker. Your judgment will affect what happens.

Spirit gives you information about 3 people. Description of their roles:

🤬 Person A broke into the victim's bedroom and SA-ed him. He wasn't here for the money, just for doing this to a person who is doomed anyways.

🤬 Person B then comforted the devastated victim. He promised that they'll just go away once the victim shows him where money is. Victim did it, hoping for the best. B quickly sh0t the victim once he got money, trying to make it quick. He took all money and left a little to person A.

🤬 Person C was not around when it happened. C is the victim's classmate and best friend. He always secretly hated the friend, but victim trusted him a lot. C found A and B and told them the friend's address, when his family leaves for a vacation, and the house plan. He told them to "do whatever". He will be faking grief in front of victim's parents.

Evil Spirit tells you that while all of them are horrible and will see him in the afterlife, at least ONE must escape punishment as per Satan's order. You are to choose who gets magically released and NEVER gets associated with it.

📗 If you choose who gets released, Evil Spirit gives you $1,000,000 with zero consequences and implications for you. No risks.

📕 You can also refuse to choose anyone. Then, all three of them get released. Instead, an innocent person gets convicted.

What are you choosing and why?

NB: your ONLY impact on the situation would be by giving this one answer. Spirit would make it impossible to locate anyone, tell anyone anything, use money to help find any participant, or keep track of what happens after your decision.

Your country disappears

Country you live in 💫magically disappears💫.

Its entire territory is now just water, no land. People who were on its territory, businesses, natural resources, any objects also disappear.

There is no warning, it just happens.

After one full month, $2 million is yours and your feelings get restored.

If u accept the challenge but give up earlier, feelings get restored but no money.

✍ Would you accept the challenge? If yes, how would you spend this time to stay sane and get used to this new situation?

Shitty telepathy

You ask a cosmic entity for an unusual superpower. It gives you an ability to send your thought into another human's mind. But it doesn't work perfect.

Every time you try to use the power, there is a 50% chance it will work and then a sentence of up to 7 words appears in ONE target person's mind. The person must be within a 5-meter distance for it to work.

But every time there is a 50% chance shit starts dripping out of your clothes with hellish diarrhea sounds and you yell "if you have weird thoughts ignore them, I'm sending you thoughts!!!" You can't stop these from happening as stated no matter what you do.

You can use the power as much as you want but every time it's a 50/50 chance.

How would you best use it???

Edit: if it doesn't work, the dripping shit and sound and yells happen no matter what you do to prevent it. Once it all happens the superpower resets and you have another chance to try.

Wish wisely!

Cosmic entity will grant one wish you have. But whatever you want to get, a person who hates you will get 5 times more!

I.e. you ask for $1mln? Granted, but your enemy gets $5mln.

NB: your wish should be something quantifiable

NB2: no "I am my own worst hater" stuff, it must be another person who actually really, strongly dislikes you.

Sound in 4D: what would it be like?

What do you think would happen to sounds and speech in geometrical 4D space and what would we perceive if someone spoke to us from 4D?

What would happen to sounds as we know them, in a 4D space? How the sound is supposed to be and travel. And if some creature wants to give us spoken message from 4D, what we should perceive, speech from unknown direction with undiscernible words?

ELI5: why human/animal faces have eyes, nose, mouth in one place and in same, strict order?

Why all creatures' faces seem to follow this principle where eyes, nose (if they have it), and mouth are all in one place. Why no creatures have them scattered randomly all over the body? Or have mouths or noses placed above eyes.

ELI5 what does it mean people see "nothing" rather than "black void" if born absolutely blind

I heard someone say how people born absolutely 100% blind don't see "black void, complete lack of light" but see "nothing, they see how you see with your elbow".

How would someone born completely blind be able to explain whether they "only see black" or "see nothing" in the first place?

If they don't have anything to compare what they perceive to, if it never changes, how would they explain it as black void or nothing? If they never saw a black object and had people tell them "this is color black".

Is it "nothing" or actually a "black void" they don't have any name for and are used to?
