Magic Socks

You are about to enter a mall that has many people in it.

Suddenly, God of Divine Revelations appears in front of you and shares a secret.

One of the people currently at the mall, he says, has socks that will bring luck and wealth if YOU get them. If you get their socks and keep them under your bed for 3 days, you will win $1 million in a lottery, have tremendous success in your industry, and have luck on your side for your entire life.

Guaranteed.

He can't tell you which person it is, though. You have to find out yourself. But this one person doesn't know their socks become magical if you get them.

Spot the robot!

Behind the glass are 50 people in individual tiny rooms.

49 of them are actual people.

One of them is a robot that is incredibly skilful at imitating humans and wouldn't raise any suspicion actually. It can also imitate fallacies and various moral imperfections.

Each room is connected to a button you have access to. If you press it, it ☠ the person or disables the robot in it.

If you correctly identify the robot and disable it, you win $1 billion. Even if you make many wrong guesses before, you get the prize and no criminal liability/publicity at all.

You can't physically interact with subjects or use any devices, only talk to them through the glass and make your choices.

You can't ask/demand anything in exchange for releasing them – this is strictly prohibited in any form and will get you punished.

You can stop after any unsuccessful attempt or use all 50 attempts if the robot is so good you can't spot it. You can refuse to participate at all.

You have 90 minutes to win the prize.

— Do you participate and what is your strategy?

What about you triggers worst reactions?

Question for other ugly people who get mistreated and ridiculed without acting rude or disrespectful towards others.

What's that what you do seems to trigger most negativity?

Like, when you look people in the eyes, or when you walk and they find your entire body moving funny, or when you say something, or smile, etc...

Social life as ugly is easy, just do 1000 things with no right for a mistake.

What happens to your social life when you are ugly? Every bit of positive attention from anyone is always hard earned.

- Just be smart, intelligent, funny, loving, caring, morally impeccable, with high emotional intelligence.

- Be in a mood that people react to the best. For instance, don't smile and laugh if people hate you do it, or don't look sad if it annoys people (depends on the type of ugliness you got).

- Be interesting to talk to and always sense what the other person wants you to say. Listen carefully to every issue someone has and never bring up your own problems.

- Be helpful. 100% of what you say should serve other people, practically or as emotional support. You can't just say everything you want and that interests YOU.

- Act tame when people are rude to you for no reason or attack your looks. You are your own and only protector. Most likely nobody would stand up for you and would just keep watching. Any rightful anger will be punished.

- Do your best to signal I'M TRYING TO LOOK BETTER. Perfect hygiene, healthy weight, makeup, hair, no amount of "cute unkemptness" is ever appropriate on a structurally ugly person.

- Whatever happens, you are expected to be wiser, smarter, calmer, and more forgiving than a prettier person who treats you bad because your face annoys them.

And be aware that every instance of you doing a normal human thing, such as getting angry, getting tired, showing you have self-worth, or refusing to give prettier people everything they want, can result in losing that fragile "sympathy" you've been earning.

So, yes. It's one thing people actively dislike and you get labeled a BAD PERSON.

Feel free to include more advice!

[TOMT] Episode of Eerie Indiana that had a sponge-like thing in it?

I used to love that show (Eerie Indiana) as a kid and there was an episode where it had a sponge or sponge-like creature. Like, a kitchen sponge would become alive at night and move around the kitchen or something like that...

DAE remember this?? I can't find any mentions of the sponge episode but I clearly remember watching it as a kid and I had nightmares after that.

Would appreciate any help!

Uglies get gaslit into thinking they must be neurodivergent

Have you guys noticed this?

You tell someone about your negative experiences with people.

As an ugly person, so many observations are consistent and reveal it HAS TO DO WITH YOUR FACE. Your facial features, people just tend to dislike your face regardless of its expressions and end up reacting negatively to what you say. Not much depends on how you act, you are just never liked. You get laughed at without doing anything funny.

But so many people will tell you noooo you must just be autistic or other form of neurodivergent.

Also happens in subs where people post pics. You can see someone with unattractive bone structure who looks like they are self-conscious about their face. And don't know what to do with their weird face, which angle to use because none works. And probably just end up having blank face because it keeps them less ugly than other expressions.

And such person would get assumptions and questions whether they are autistic OUT OF THE BLUE. Because they are not attractive and are AWARE of it? 🙈🙆‍♀️

Wtf is this gaslighting? Why are people even doing it to unattractive ones?!

You get money

A. Get $1,000 to your bank account with no questions from authorities.

B. Get $5,000,000 in cash that you won't be able to explain. $5 mil has also magically disappeared from a local millionaire, and they got sent your drunk photo from 5 years ago along with "lol, thank you for the money" from an untraceable account.

C. Get $20,000,000 in cash that you won't be able to explain. Same amount of money has disappeared from charity organizations that support severely ill people. They got sent a low-quality photo of you with "lol, thank you for the money" from an untraceable account.

Your choice? If B or C, what would you do?

Three wishes for three people

Genie gives you a chance for three wishes. But asks you to be very careful.

You have to write them down for him in a format "I wish that I... (do or get whatever)".

Thing is that one wish from your list takes effect FOR YOU, one for a random 12yo kid living in your city/town, and one for another person you know who wishes bad to you and gossips about you.

Who gets which will be determined randomly and Genie wouldn't be able to change the will of the Random spirit.

NB: wishes can't mention you by your username or imply they are actually about you or anyone other than "I". For instance, "I wish I give all money to *username*" is not acceptable.

Now tell me your three wishes? 💫

1 hour with your mom or dad when they were 5

You pick either your mom or dad (biological only). You get dressed appropriately for the era and teleported in a year when your parent was a 5-year-old kid. Everyone thinks you are a distant relative who only has one hour before they are flying home. So you are trusted to spend an hour with them, playing or talking.

You can't bring any modern objects with you, and what you tell them or teach them might impact their future choices in life. But remember they are only 5 so teaching them about investment or marriage would look weird 😅

How do you use this time?

$50 mln allergy

You will get $50 mln for living two full months with every food allergy ever known to humanity (except water). Every food a human can ever be allergic to you will become allergic to.

However, food allergies you actually objectively have now, if any, get cured for these two months.

You get the money after two full months, new allergies go away and your old ones come back. Ending the experiment earlier and making these new allergies stop is available at any time but would bring no payment.

Are you participating and what is your strategy to stay as healthy as possible?

What if NOBODY was raising their biological kids?

Imagine if the world was built in a way that all expecting parents or single pregnant women had their newborns randomly rearranged between them after they give birth.

Like, all newborns born within past 24 hours are randomized and instantly teleported between couples/women who just gave birth. Globally. By some computer, no way to program it to leave a kid in their country or city or whatever. A stillborn or kid that unfortunately wouldn't make it would still be randomly assigned to someone, sadly.

With all medical papers (mother identity hidden) so that the accepting hospital knows what care this infant needs.

And assume people are emotionally okay with it and are used to it. They wanted a baby? That's their random baby and they'll treat it like their baby because it is! Nobody feels bad or seeks to find their "real" child, newborn randomizer is just a fact of life nobody ever questions.

Worst short movie for $1,000,000

You are to create a 10-minute short movie with a plot, actors, dialogues, music. You can hire anyone and access expensive resources, all production is free for you.

After your work is ready, it is shown to 1 million anonymous viewers from across the world who will vote 👍 or 👎honestly. Viewers are 18 years old and older.

They don't know their votes are giving/taking money, so they won't be doing 👍 out of bitterness.

Each 👎 reaction brings you $1, each 👍 reaction takes $2 away. So if your bad movie is really liked you can end up in debt.

What would you plan to create so that it brings you most money?

Who would you release?

You wake up in a black room with Evil Spirit in front of you. He tells you that a teenager was killed in city X that you would never visit. YOU were chosen to be an anonymous decision-maker. Your judgment will affect what happens.

Spirit gives you information about 3 people. Description of their roles:

🤬 Person A broke into the victim's bedroom and SA-ed him. He wasn't here for the money, just for doing this to a person who is doomed anyways.

🤬 Person B then comforted the devastated victim. He promised that they'll just go away once the victim shows him where money is. Victim did it, hoping for the best. B quickly sh0t the victim once he got money, trying to make it quick. He took all money and left a little to person A.

🤬 Person C was not around when it happened. C is the victim's classmate and best friend. He always secretly hated the friend, but victim trusted him a lot. C found A and B and told them the friend's address, when his family leaves for a vacation, and the house plan. He told them to "do whatever". He will be faking grief in front of victim's parents.

Evil Spirit tells you that while all of them are horrible and will see him in the afterlife, at least ONE must escape punishment as per Satan's order. You are to choose who gets magically released and NEVER gets associated with it.

📗 If you choose who gets released, Evil Spirit gives you $1,000,000 with zero consequences and implications for you. No risks.

📕 You can also refuse to choose anyone. Then, all three of them get released. Instead, an innocent person gets convicted.

What are you choosing and why?

NB: your ONLY impact on the situation would be by giving this one answer. Spirit would make it impossible to locate anyone, tell anyone anything, use money to help find any participant, or keep track of what happens after your decision.

Shitty telepathy

You ask a cosmic entity for an unusual superpower. It gives you an ability to send your thought into another human's mind. But it doesn't work perfect.

Every time you try to use the power, there is a 50% chance it will work and then a sentence of up to 7 words appears in ONE target person's mind. The person must be within a 5-meter distance for it to work.

But every time there is a 50% chance shit starts dripping out of your clothes with hellish diarrhea sounds and you yell "if you have weird thoughts ignore them, I'm sending you thoughts!!!" You can't stop these from happening as stated no matter what you do.

You can use the power as much as you want but every time it's a 50/50 chance.

How would you best use it???

Edit: if it doesn't work, the dripping shit and sound and yells happen no matter what you do to prevent it. Once it all happens the superpower resets and you have another chance to try.
