does anyone have any info on why the cypher appears differently on different boxes? is it purely a progression over time or was it to do with different manufacturers? i’m aware it moved from above the aperture to the door around 1905 (think i’ve remembered that correctly).

is there a resource online for learning about the dates these sorts of changes occurred? i’d love to be able to more accurately date boxes i happen upon 🤓
