Has anyone experienced an intermittent AC charging fault on a 2023 MG4 Trophy Long Range?

About six weeks ago my car started repeatedly stopping during AC charging. It happens on my home Ohme charger and also happened on multiple public 7 kW AC chargers, so it doesn’t seem to be specific to my home setup.

What I’ve ruled out so far:

Tried two different Type 2 cables.
Same issue on home and public AC chargers.

DC rapid charging works perfectly every time.

The dealer had the car this week, applied a software update and told me they’d tested it on a 7 kW charger and the issue was fixed.
Unfortunately, it isn’t. The first overnight charge afterwards was plugged in for 9h 51m but only delivered 0.94 kWh (“There was a hiccup” in the Octopus app).

I then tried Ohme Boost/Max Charge. It charged normally for 1h 17m and delivered 8.4 kWh before stopping unexpectedly at around 22% SOC. It didn’t restart by itself, and I had to manually restart charging.

The fault is intermittent - sometimes it will charge for a few seconds, sometimes for over an hour, but it eventually stops before reaching the target charge.

Has anyone had similar symptoms? If so, what was the eventual fix? I’m particularly interested to know whether it turned out to be the onboard charger, charge port, software, or something else. The dealer is looking at it again, but I’d like to go back armed with any ideas from people who’ve experienced the same issue.

i’m looking to try something new in my routine, which is currently as follows:

the beta glucan serum has been nice to use, as have the haruharu probiotic rice essence, hada labo gokujyun hyaluronic acid serum, the ordinary HA and pyunkang essence but nothing has blown me away.

i’d like something that deeply hydrates, supports the skin barrier and feels like a big glass of water for my face when i apply it. i don’t mind heavy if it sinks in, but i don’t want to be an overly shiny disco ball all day.

i’m 39 so my concerns are mostly evening out my skin tone (which my actives are addressing) and fine lines around my eyes.

any wonder products i should try? euro and asian both fine but love me some proven ingredients not marketing hype 😊

i’ve been asked to update my details, including the salary section. it currently shows as my previous monthly net pay but i now have a salary sacrifice lease car which has reduced my net pay by ~£300 per month.

do i update my salary with the new, lower amount?

apologies if this seems obvious but i’m anxious about getting this wrong!
