Just got the news that another friend has breast cancer lost multiple friends to aids and cancer (fucking horrific in some cases).
I keep thinking whether I’m next and it is horrifying. I’m 58. Husband is 66. We are finally in a financially stable position and now I’m scared we’re all going to die. I’ve not even drawn my pension yet.

Or maybe you could just move out of the busiest area of London for bars and restaurants? Who TF moves to Soho then complains about the 'noise'‽

Back in the 70s my older sister had the soundtrack to ‘Hair - the musical’. I loved it. Age of Aquarius etc. but one song was called ‘Sodomy’ and was basically “Sodomy, fellatio, cunnilingus, pederasty’ etc. I stil know all the words at 58.
Anyhoo at school we had an exercise where we had to choose a word from each letter of the alphabet and make a sentence with it.
Guess what I chose.

I came home from school that day and my teacher was sat with my mum and I got grilled for hours.

I think I was seven. I got all the sentences correct though - that was one of my teacher’s arguments as to WHY?

Between the bots and the adverts I don’t recognise it any more.
And I’ve been here for over a decade.
I’m constantly checking for ‘promoted’ but I’m also seeing the same posts over and over again across multiple days.
I guess it’s time to hang up my hat and have a life.
