A piece of my window seal (or maybe soft top?) just fell off yesterday. I looked and see this wire is exposed on my soft top. Is it in bad shape? Sometimes water gets in but not from this area (yet). It comes on the drivers side visor. So far it’s only a little. Anyway, curious is this is a small fix or a whole new thing? Thank you!
My mom is looking to buy this old jaguar and doesn’t have a ton of disposable income. It only has 70k miles on it and had the battery and alternator replaced recently but the owner doesn’t have the maintenance records.

I’ve been on 100mg of Spironolactone for TEN years for acne. I decided to only take 50 mg now and my hair has been looking awful lately. It’s a different, rougher texture, very coarse. It seems greasy yet dry and is very prone to product buildup. Could Spironolactone have changed my hair because of sebum production? Will it go back to normal?
I’m wondering if I should push through or go back up to dose. I’ve been on 50mg for about 5 months now.

My passenger side window will go down, but not up. This week it would go up slowly or sometimes when I’d press the button, but now it won’t go up at all. I went to a mechanic that said I should order a new switch and they’d install it. I told them it was slowly working this week so maybe it was the motor and they told me to order the motor and a new switch. I’m not convinced they know what’s wrong with it though.
could it be the tracking/regulator that is busted and therefore makes the motor lose power? I don’t want to order the wrong part.
I saw someone else say they cleaned the heck out of their window motor and then it worked fine.
