Looking for a name for new gentleman in my life

I've had him for a few days and keep calling him Sir. He's got big tomcat cheeks.

Praying this is a drugstore beetle

I've got a few bumps on my arms that I don't know where they came from so could really use the reassurance.

Adopted young cat that I'm scared is too much for me to handle

My family has had cats my entire life so now I'm in my own place, I wanted to adopt one. I adopted a 10-month old male last Tuesday and he has been absolutely insane. He seemed pretty chill and quiet in the shelter so I don't feel I knew what I was getting into. I'm having trouble coping and aim worried I've made a huge mistake.

Here are my concerns about his behaviour:
- Significant meowing: I've learned online to ignore him which I do believe he's starting to figure out he can't meow to get what he wants
- Aggressive about food: the minute I bring his food out, he's jumping up on me, meowing like crazy. If I get a treat bag out, he'll goes feral and will stop at nothing to get to it. I don't know how he hasn't broken into the cupboard where they are yet but once he finds it, I'm screwed.
- Scratching: he's obsessed with scratching my furniture and tore a hole through the plastic covering. He won't use any of the 3 scratchers I bought him. He digs his claws into furniture and me when I pet him.
- Extremely active but doesn't like most toys: he's only interested in a stick and string with feathers, which he can do for hours non-stop. He won't touch balls, springs, crinkly toys.
- Biting: he'll rub up against me for pets but then bite me. He's started biting my feet under my sheets so I can't sleep with him in the room.

I'm just lost, none of my family pets have been like this. I'm scared I'm going to have to return him to the shelter because I just can't handle his energy. Like I don't feel love him at this point because I'm so stressed out. Please help.

What are the rules for parking on a street with a flat curb?

The street I'm living on has a flat curb all the way down, meaning no curb cuts to designate driveways. I've already ran into an issue of parking in front of someone's house when I shouldn't have because their whole front yard is paved and I didn't realize that was considered a driveway. There's a bunch of properties like this on the street. Municipal by-laws state not to park within 1.5m of a driveway but, without curb cuts, how do I determine what counts as a driveway?

Location: St. Catharines, Ontario

Can someone damage my car if I park illegally?

Last night I made a mistake and parked in front of someone's house illegally. They always park on the street (where I parked last night) so I thought it was okay. Their whole front yard is paved so I didn't consider it a driveway but they left a note saying it was. Absolutely my mistake and it would have been justified to ticket/tow me. HOWEVER, my car is now splattered in a substance that I can't remove. It's only on the front and the passenger side which was the side near their house.

Even though I messed up and parked illegally, are they allowed to damage my car? If I report it, would they also get me in trouble for parking illegally?

EDIT: Thank you for everyone's feedback. As pointed out, I can't prove who put the substance on my car so I won't take any further action. Their note said they're sending pictures to by-law so hopefully nothing comes of that.

As for the paved front yard, there are a few properties on the street with their entire front paved so it likely would have been caught if it was illegal. The curb is flat pretty much the whole street so idk the laws about that. I'm going to see what I can do to look up parking by-laws.
