Which came first?

So, which came first, War Mages, or the spell "You're Not Done Yet"?. In Book 3, it says the spell "You're not done yet" is a War Mage spell. However, in Book 7, we learn that War Mages are the only truly dungeon created creature. But you need the spell "You're Not Done Yet" to create War Mages. But "You're Not Done Yet" is a War Mage spell, a label that can't exist until War Mages exist. So which came first?

In case you wondered why there is so much incest between the gods

Using Heracles, since I've read some theories on this subreddit about Carl's name being derived from it. Zeus is Heracles' father, great great grandfather and great great great great great great great great great great (x10) grandfather. And >!Taranis!< seems to be the stand-in for Zeus in this world.
