Shared celebrity birthday trick

This may be a long shot, because I can’t even remember exactly how this trick goes. I’m just hoping someone out there knows what I’m talking about.

I saw it performed by a contestant on the game show People Puzzler, hosted by Leah Remini. A contestant boasted that they could perform a cool party trick. She asked Leah what celebrity she shared a birthday with and (this is where it got strange, because Leah didn’t even have to think about it), when she named a celebrity, the contestant said, “Oh, so your birthday is on [some date],” and Leah was shocked as if she had guessed her birthday correctly. She then performed the trick with another contestant and guessed his birthday correctly. Again, the contestant just happened to know which celebrity he shared a birthday with, which was strange. So, were the participants just throwing out any random celebrity name? That would make the trick even more strange, though.

So I guess the trick was supposed be that the performer had memorized every celebrity birthday, which of course is highly unlikely. So what was going on and how was this trick done? I wasn’t able to find anything on Google.

What happened to me in the restroom?

I got a nosebleed while at a restaurant and excused myself to the restroom to take care of it. Normally I follow standard medical advice and it stops after two or three minutes, but this one was different. It was much worse than normal in terms of blood volume, and it wouldn’t stop. I soaked through paper towel after paper towel. Finally, after probably at least five minutes, I felt something in my nostril, and pulled out something the size of my pinky finger. This was no booger. From the way it dangled from my finger tips, it appeared to have the consistency of gelatin, and of course it was covered in dark red blood. Once it was out, the bleeding stopped in less than 30 seconds.

This was probably 20 years ago (I was in my early twenties), so my memory of fine details may not be perfectly clear. With the knowledge I’ve gained since then, my first thought is that it could have been a blood clot, but I’m no medical expert. Is that even possible? Do they appear in the nasal cavity?

To be clear, I’m not asking for medical advice. I’m just curious if anyone has any idea as to what I might have experienced all those years ago.

[TOMT] [VIDEO] Cookie Monster does Taken spoof?

This was a comedy video, probably less than five minutes. All I remember about it was Cookie Monster on the phone with someone, describing cupcakes as “two…round…delicious…chocolate…cuppa-cakes.” For some reason, I’m thinking it had something to do with the movie Taken. Maybe the phone call was spoofing the famous Taken phonecall scene…?

Adding a second AC unit

We have a central AC unit for our 3 level home (including basement), but the upstairs is always way hotter than the main floor. I’ve heard of homes set up with a second AC unit dedicated to the upstairs. Is it possible to add a second unit and thermostat without having to rip the walls open and add additional duct work? Obviously we would have a professional do this work for us.

For reference, we live in central Utah, US.

[TOMT] [EPISODE OF TIL DEATH] [I FIXED THE TOILET]

I’m trying to find an episode (and video) of what I am almost positive is the tv show Til Death starring Brad Garrett.

If I’m picturing the scene right, Jeff (Brad Garrett) climbs into bed with his wife after working in the bathroom and says in a funny maybe-trying-to-be-manly voice, “I fixed the toilet.”

My wife and I watched this together years ago when it aired and found it funny. Now, anytime I fix the toilet, I reenact the line for her. But now I can’t find the actual episode.

How to lock this type of trailer coupler?

I work at a place that manufactures boat covers and we move boats around our lot every day. Some trailers have surge brakes and we have the common orange magnetic lockout key for those that allow us to push them around without the brakes engaging. However, there is another type shown in the picture. Is there a way to prevent the surge brakes from engaging when pushing these backwards? The only thing we’ve been able to do is use a trigger clamp to prevent the front section from sliding into the back part, but if the boat is too heavy, the clamp is simply not strong enough.

If you know how to do this, please let me know. Or if you know what type/style of trailer coupler this is, let me know and I’ll continue to try researching on my own.

Thank you!!
