Looking for my next big kid bike -40f

I am 5’6 for reference and usually use a 52ish cm bike. I am on my second Cannondale, currently using a quick 5. I like the hybrid/commuter piece of it, but I am riding longer distances and want something more comfortable. I ride on average 20-30 miles a go on both road and gravel/trail. I’d like it to be lightweight. I saw REI made a co-op ARD 1.2 that seems slightly more road, but I am looking for more recs. Happy to answer any questions. Thanks in advance!

Top of gfs butt hurts with longer rides

My gf is 63, not at all new to biking, is in great shape and is quite thin. Recently, she has been experiencing pain at the top of her butt with longer rides. It is seemingly an unusual area to experience pain. Changing seats, and adding padding have not helped. Any advice?

How to get peds experience when I’ve been a geriatric OT for 15 years

I want to be able to eventually have a private cash based business and offer visits for younger populations, but I don’t have the experience. I did do peds in my clinicals many years ago. Any advice to get refreshed on best practices for younger patients?

I am looking at “more affordable” seaside towns to purchase a home in the next 2 or so years. I currently own a home in the western part of the state. What areas would you avoid and why?
