I'm setting up a new 4-bay RAID 5 unit and I wanted to figure out if these Seagate 30TB EXOS M hard drives are CMR or SMR ? I was told to steer clear or SMR but the product literature isn't clear about what it is. Thank you in advance!

Can someone explain to me that advantages of purchasing an enterprise hard drive from OWC, with optimized firmware for OWC enclosures?

What is the benefit to this ? As opposed to using other enterprise drives. Is it worth that much more ? I asked someone on the phone at OWC and they couldn't really explain it well to me.

Hi, I'm wondering out loud: what alternatives have people used to Pelican's U-shaped locking mechanism anchor pins? Has anyone tried different alternatives which are secure but lighter weight? I realized an entire pouch of these pins weigh as much as a lens and I'd love to find a way to shave down some weight if possible.

Hello! I'm looking to transport a set of hard drives and a DAS 4-bay Raid unit in a 1535 Air pelican to fly long distance as a carry-on luggage. Hello! I have a question. I currently have a Thunderbay 4 and need to get fifth drive as a backup. Can I use a non-raid unit, i.e. OWC dual dock or other docks and use it to certify the new drive? I have the full version of Softraid. Or do I need to physically remove all my drives and certify this one spare drive inside the Thunderbay 4 raid unit? Thanks in advance!

Hello! I ended up picking up a truthear gate and really enjoyed the form factor of using an IEM for travel and relaxation, listening to movies and music. That cable is really nice. I like using it on the airplane where I can get enough sound isolation without using any ANC headphones. The gate sounds ok? Not great but it bad either. I sometimes want to talk on the phone but I have other earpieces for that. I’m wondering if there are any other IEM that have smaller form factors that have better sound. My budget is up to 100-200 dollars. There have been discussion about the Simgot EW300 but I’d love to hear your thoughts about this. Thank you!

Hello! I am in the market for a 75% keyboard and I wanted to ask people's opinion regarding these two. I'm looking at either the Corsair K65 plus vs the Keychron J2. I'm on the fence on the knob's functionality. Haven't explored that potential yet, but I'm mostly a typist who wants to use it write, do administrative work on a computer and want something that is easy to spend hours typing on. I don't use it for games.

-Are the quality of the keycaps on the Corsair much better?
-I see that the K65 knob can't be program but how do others use the VIA knobs?
-how do the MLX Red switches compare to the Keychron Banana switch?
