What is this little piece of plastic that fell out of my 2014 Lincoln MKX steering column? Automatic transmission, about 130k miles
I was turning my steering wheel recently and this little bit fell out—the steering column was taken apart by a mechanic in hopes of fixing my cruise control a few weeks ago but he couldn’t figure it out, so he put the column back together. I have to imagine this piece falling out has something to do with that tear down…any thoughts on what this is?
