How do I clean this out from my wayfarer?

Hey guys. Is this a lost cause on the hinges or will an ultrasonic cleaner at an optical store be suffice to get rid of it?

Or do I have to fully restore the frame? It’s a vintage pair from the 70s or possibly early 80s wayfarer.

Thank you!

Seeking legit check on these pair of Persol, please?

Hey, guys. As the title implies, can anyone legit check these for me, please?

I’ve never seen this type of logo on the lenses (my apologies for my naïveté) and they’re on both top corner of their respective lenses.

Out of curiosity are these during the time they were bought by Luxottica or prior to that?

Thank you all in advance!

Vintage sunglasses repair places?

As the title implies. I have a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators around the late 70s/early 80s. However, the nose bridge (below the top bar) completely detached when I was putting it on recently (probably due to its age) and they don’t fit right. I believe it needs to be laser micro-weld?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know a shop that specializes in laser micro-welding for sunglasses in Saskatoon?

Hypothetically, which current vet on the roster that you would keep during the rebuild? For the vibes or the culture or what have you.

I’ve started following here and there; and have been a fan of the team when I was a kid around 07/08. So I had short glimpses of Naslund era, Sedin era, Benning era etc.

I mean, honestly speaking — I mainly watch the NBA and support the Lakers during their rebuild stage as well but if hockey is concern, the Nucks through and through.

But since we’re in the rebuild phase (which I hope it is), who do you hypothetically want in the team to stay throughout? Unless you really wanna get rid of the vets for picks and prospects and keep all the young guys and clean slate the whole thing.

100% Sunglasses a good alternative brand to Oakley?

Hey, guys. Has anyone tried sunglasses from the brand called 100%?

I’ve only heard about them recently because some of the MLB players are wearing them and was curious if they’re a good alternative to Oakley in terms of outdoor/sports activities.

Are these Clubmaster authentic?

Hey, guys. As the title implies — are these B&L Ray-Ban Clubmaster legitimate?

I was off-put on one of the screws that I believe holds one of the lenses being bigger than the others (refer to pic. 9).

Markings are on the inner left temple arms only with an etched “W0365” on the temple tip. No markings on the right temple arm.

Also, anyone has an idea which era they were produced?

Thank you for your help!

Are these B&L Ray-Ban Clubmaster authentic?

Hey, guys. As the title implies, are these legitimate?

I’m not sure if these are the original case that they came with but I don’t mind it.

I was caught off guard on one of the screws that looks larger than the others (9th photo) and lack of markings on the right temple arms. However, there is an etched “W0365” on the inner left temple tip (12th photo).

They do have the gold painted logo and B&L etching on both outer corners of the lenses. Anyone has an idea on what era they were?

Thank you all in advance!

Seeking for help to LC a vintage Oakley Minute

Hey guy, as the title implies — I’m seeking for help/advice on the authenticity of these sunglasses, please.

I’m not familiar with vintage Oakley’s but I do love this silhouette of a 90s wrap around style sunglasses. I’ve heard that they do get faked a lot, so I’m hoping this is an authentic pair before making a purchase. These are probably going to be my first Oakley pair prior to the Luxottica takeover.

Thank y’all in advance!

Help LC American Optical Original Pilot

Hey, guys. I’m planning to get these pre-owned AOs. I haven’t had any sunglasses with bayonet temples yet. So, I’mma give these a try and hope that they’re comfortable enough despite being in the smaller side.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out if they’re authentic?

I was considering Randolph’s at first but I couldn’t find a good deal yet; but will definitely get one in the foreseeable future.

Thank y’all in advance.

Has anyone tried sunglasses from Entourage of 7?

As the title implies, anyone has experienced with the brand?

I’ve seen Matt Damon’s character wore them on Ford v Ferrari. I’m not getting that specific model, but somewhere along the lines of the brand.

For those who have owned or tried a pair, what’s the build quality and are they comparable to brands around similar price points?

Apparently they’re a pretty niche brand and use Japanese zyl acetate for their frames; and they’re made in Japan.

As the title implies — anyone knows or has experience with local opticians or optical stores that can polish and adjust vintage sunglasses?

Vintage like around the 80s, the acetate frame still feels sturdy so I’m hoping they could be somewhat restored. If anyone has done it before, do let me know your experience and the optician/store you went to. Thank you in advance.

Salute to the dude, man. DA might be inconsistent all season long but he was the only one that was eager to close the series tonight.

DA defended Sengun (even tho that mofo flops like he has tits on his chest) well all night.

He kept us afloat in game 4 before the stupid ejection by Gucci Mane and tonight prior to the failed comeback.

Shooting and momentum killing passes failed us tonight.

Bounce back LakeShow!
