So i recently started birth control to regulate my periods as i have pcos and would go months upon months without a period, plus I recently became sexually active so I figured it be a good step. Ive been on it for about a month now and its been genuine hell. Been bleeding so much for almost 2 weeks back to back now and was told that was normal? I started having shortness of breath and dizzy spells which my gyno told me to go to the hospital for and I did but they told me I was fine and this was common when starting birth control for the first 3-4 months. So I just left it alone and kept going through it, thats when I noticed that my other medications didnt feel like they were working right. Im medicated for a mood disorder and anxiety, and the last month I feel like im unmedicated even though ive been taken the same medication for almost 2 years now. So not only have I been physically awful, but mentally now too. I have an appointment to see my gyno on the 20th as thats the earliest I can get in, but I mainly just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar? To know if im alone in this or not. Im hoping that its a fairly simple fix or switching to a different pill as im losing the energy to jump through hoops anymore.
