Horrible latch/feeding at 11 months old

My baby usually nurses 1-2 times during the night (usually just once, but a substantial feed which I’m fine with - it gets her to sleep a decent stretch).

Writing this at 4am, trying to figure out what’s going on. It’s like she forgot how to nurse (she’s been EBF since a newborn). The last few nights, she has been trying to open her mouth at the sides while sucking after about 2 seconds. Then she gives up, then gets frustrated and tries again. It’s a vicious cycle and she’s not getting anything out of the attempted feed. I’m having a hard time getting her back to sleep. It’s a mess. She doesn’t seem ill but she is snoring a little.

I’m running a humidifier in case of congestion but I’m not sure why it’s really only a nighttime issue. Any thoughts? It’s just she suddenly really wants her mouth open while nursing.

Milk fiend decided to eat a little bit of quesadilla. She’s slowly warming to solids, so this is a victory!

👏👏👏
