I saw this guy on marketplace over the weekend and decided that it needed to join the collection. The guy I bought it from described it a a supraphonic on steroids. (1/8in cast aluminum shell). Gave it a quick spin on the kit, and it really has a nice crack to it. Can’t wait to bring it to band practice this.
Blue rope drum belongs to a friend from our West African dance class. Had to glue up some cracks and it received. all new rope.
The brown rope is a customers drum. First of 3 for him. I was a bit worried at first (the skin is thiiiiick). The skin seated nicely. This one is going to be a screamer.
Both will get the dry pull next week.
Watching the heat lightning before the storm.
