what ai tool actually stayed useful for me

i’ve tried a lot of ai tools… most of them felt exciting at first, then slowly faded out of my daily work.

but a few actually stayed:

ChatGPT → ideas, writing, thinking things through
Claude → cleaner, longer writing and structure
MiriCanvas → turning ideas into real visuals fast (posts, flyers, thumbnails, presentations)

miricanvas is the one that quietly made the biggest difference for me. not because it’s “fancy ai”, but because it helps me move from idea → finished design without overthinking or wasting time.

i think that’s the real win with ai tools. They help make work easier and also this tools are easy to navigate

not hype. not replacing people. just making it easier to create, show up, and stay consistent even on busy days.

What presentation tools are small teams using to create slides faster?

I’ve noticed a lot of startups and small businesses spend a huge amount of time building pitch decks, onboarding slides, and client presentations manually.

Not every team has the budget to hire a designer whenever they need something polished, so I’m curious what tools or workflows people here are using to speed things up while still keeping presentations professional.

One tool I’ve personally been testing recently is MiriCanvas. I’m not affiliated with them, just tried it while looking for faster ways to build decks. The templates were easier to customize than some other tools I tested, and it helped reduce the time spent adjusting layouts from scratch.

Curious what everyone else here is using for presentations, proposals, or internal docs.

Instagram reach feels completely unpredictable lately

Is it just me or has Instagram become way harder to predict recently?

I’ll post something I think will flop and it suddenly performs well, then a post I spent real time on barely reaches anyone. It feels like the algorithm changes every other week.

I’m also noticing smaller accounts sometimes getting more traction than pages with larger followings, which honestly makes growth feel confusing right now.

Curious if other people managing pages or client accounts are seeing the same thing lately, or if you’ve figured out something that’s actually working consistently.

Has anyone tried using MiriCanvas as a lightweight bridge for design systems?

I’ve been experimenting with turning system rules into simple, visual layouts that non-devs (and even AI tools) can actually follow, and it’s been helping reduce a lot of the “almost right” UI issues.

Curious if anyone else is using something similar to make design systems more accessible outside core design/dev teams.

hey everyone,

i’ve been thinking a lot about what it’s like being a woman in tech, especially in graphic design, and i’m really curious to hear real experiences

what kind of challenges are you dealing with right now?
is it getting recognized for your work, being overlooked for opportunities, dealing with certain team dynamics, or something else entirely?

also, how are you handling it? have you found ways to navigate or improve your situation?

would really appreciate honest thoughts, whether you’re just starting out or already experienced.
