[Rolex] Milgauss

The only Rolex in my collection and probably the watch I wear the most after my blue Tudor Pelagos 25600TB. This is the Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue 116400GV (which has now been discontinued) and I got the call 5 years ago for my 30th birthday. I’d say it’s still the only Rolex I ever want to own.

Shuttle bus queue

The queue for the shuttle bus to Arnage at around 1am was one of the most brutal queues I’ve seen. When I gave up and tried to leave, some dude pulled me back in and shouted ”YOU HAVE TO USE THE QUEUE!”

It was clear he thought I’m trying to skip the queue, so I told him I’m just heading back to the track, to which he then decided that the best response is to just call me an asshole and a bastard.

How long did people end up waiting for the buses?

Paid a booking in full, but had a small amount suddenly refunded, and now Booking.com is about to cancel my booking if I don't pay the missing amount

I'm encountering a very peculiar issue with Booking.com.

I booked a stay for June 2026 almost a year ago, and I paid the whole amount for the booking this month around two weeks ago. Today, out of nowhere, I received a message from Booking.com that around 10 EUR has been refunded to me for no apparent reason, and this 10 EUR needs to be paid again - otherwise the booking will be automatically cancelled tomorrow at midnight. I have verified that this is genuine correspondence from Booking.com.

I've tried paying for this remaining amount, but I'm encountering a technical error, saying "We've having trouble loading payment methods - try again". I’ve tried removing my card details and readding them, tried multiple different browsers, phones and computers with browser cache and cookies cleared. Booking.com call center is also unable to provide a resolution, saying it's most likely a system glitch, but they cannot guarantee that the booking won't be canceled.

If it gets canceled and I have to rebook, it means I'm going to have to pay around 4 times my initial payment because it's a high demand weekend, and prices have obviously skyrocketed ever since my initial booking.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem here? The 10 EUR seems to be matching with the City Tax that was charged as a part of the reservation.
